I managed to avoid it, thankfully. I also work with the public, so getting sick would be a Bad Thing (TM).

To my knowledge, I didn't have any SG-mates at the meet-and-greet. (and if I did, they were being very sneaky...)

please, can we not have this channel turn into requests like the following: "OMGZ!!! I'm stuck in teh Hollows and need a port! HELP MEE TAXIBOTS!!!"?

It is generally used by Taxibots to coordinate posts (e.g. "is someone covering the AP/Hollows gate on Virtue?") or organize events.

General Taxibot-related chatter also happens frequently.

Requests for assistance from the Paragon Taxi Service should be sent over broadcast or request in the zone you're in. That's what those channels are there for (among other reasons, of course)
