    Energy/?

Energy/Shield is pretty fun. The only thing you have to manage is endurance. I slot all my attacks with 2 acc/2 end/1 rech and then if I have slots left I put damage in, although Energy Transfer only needs 1 end and 1 acc and Total Focus only needs 1 acc. I slot all my shields with 2 end/2 def or res and Grant Cover only needs 1 end because it's cost is already low. I don't worry too much about damage because of fury and Against All Odds. I only run out of end when soloing Archvillains/Heroes, but that's a given.
  2. After dusting off my ninja/dark mastermind, I've been wondering how to slot the pets. Mainly the Jounin. I'm pretty sure I'm supposed to slot end and hold in the Oni, and dam/disorient in the Genin, but the Jounin have so many things that they're able to be slotted. What enhancements would work out the best?

Seriously? That doesn't seem fair. I mean I can understand because of the flips, but there are other powers that have jumping animations that are compatible with stone armor.
  5. I just reactivated my account yesterday and noticed that brutes have claws now. But I was wondering why you can't pair it with Stone Armor. Is it because claws is a dps set and granite armor slows down the dps? But even that wouldn't make sense since claws powers have low recharge times. I must know the reason! Help!

Couldn't I just boot up in safe mode on the new mobo then go to C:/i386 then open up the winnt32.exe file and do a repair install of my OS?

    [/ QUOTE ]

So would this work or not?

But if you can't even get to the bios since the new mobo won't boot, thats a no go.

My new mobo works, I just can't boot the OS normally, but I can boot in safe mode. So I was thinking just copy all my documents and whatnot to a disk then do that. But I don't know if that'll work or not so I asked you guys.
  8. Wait one more question.

Wouldn't I just boot up in safe mode on the new mobo then go to C:/i386 then open up the winnt32.exe file and do a repair install of my OS?
  9. I think I'm just gonna call up geek squad or something because all of that looks way too complicated for me. Thank you for all of your help.
  10. My old mb is fine I'm just upgrading to a new one because my old one doesn't support duo processors. And I'm pretty sure I'm going from intel to AMD, I'll have to check again.

@ houtex - You mentioned making a disc. I'm assuming a new disc for the OS or for something else?
  11. I was just seeing if there was another way because I'm just worried about how much it will cost for them to put it together. Thanks for the help.
  12. And I can't get my OS to start up on it. I would just reinstall my OS but the disc is on my hard drive and I don't know how to reinstall it to the new motherboard.

    Somebody help me.
  13. There is no room in my case for a fan in the front. I currently have it mounted on the side where the vents are and it seems to be working better since I turned it around. I'm not really going to worry about the fan issue too much because I'm going to buy this beautiful case in a week or so. =]

I also need to get a new mb because I'm buying a new processor and my current one doesn't support it. Thing is, I have no idea where to begin on mb's.
  14. I was able to play for over an hour with my case open and fan blowing into it. I think that might've been the problem. I'll try playing tomorrow with the case closed and fan blowing inward and see how that fares.
  15. Ah okay. My friend told me to have it point outward to pull the hot air out, but I'll try it without the side or just flip it around because I don't have an available fan to blow into it.
  16. [ QUOTE ]
I would have to agree with the heat assesment. Have you tried running your pc with the side of thes case open and a fan blowing on it? That should give you a good idea if it is a heat issue.

    [/ QUOTE ]

I also purchased a small fan when I bought the card, ram, and power supply and I hung it to the inside of my case blowing outwards through the side vent. When I looked at it the other day, it looks like it isn't going as fast as it should. Would it be because its a couple inches away from the motherboard fan and that the mb fan is I guess canceling out the other fan?

Er, unless you changed this yourself, it looks like something is messing with your system?

    Or maybe I'm hallucinating too...

    [/ QUOTE ]

I noticed that too. I'm a little bit confused as to why it's like that. =/

Also the WhoCrashed program doesn't work because my system shut down while I was trying to update XP and it doesn't show up. he only crashes it shows are from 2007.
  18. @Zombie - Do you mean the automatic updates for XP? If so, I haven't been able to download the updates. I'm not sure why. It starts to archive the files and after about 15 minutes it says that the updates could not be installed.

Edit - Nevermind. My firewall was blocking it. Updating system now.
  19. My old card was an ATI X1300.

  21. @Zombie - I downloaded the CoH Helper and I wasn't sure on how to use it.

@Zloth - I gave my old power supply to a friend so I wouldn't be able to try that.
  22. I recently purchased this power supply and this video card and I also bought 2 gigs of RAM.

For the first week or so I was able to play all day and nothing would shut down, but afterwards my pc just shuts down after playing for a couple hours and it just kept getting worse and worse each time. And when I tried to boot back up, my pc wouldn't start any programs or anything. It would just be on and the screen would show nothing.

A couple of my friends say I need a new motherboard and a new processor, but I thought I would come here before I went out and spent more money than needed.

Not exactly sure on what information you need to help so yeah..

    Carnival Maps

Are there any carnival maps that aren't huge or in the city? I bought the unique map pack and it gave me two carnival of shadows maps that are huge.
  24. I would recommend trying "Trouble in the Candyland Factory!" Short but fun.
