Quote:Tried to make a elec/therm troller in mids. No primary elec power set for doms and no elec anything for trollers????U'll be able to sap bad players who have every useless toggle on and attacking constantly. Some other builds can sap just as good as ur build with one power from the therm set. Just hold off on this and make an elec/therm troller or elec/elec dom maybe. Trust me when i say that the elec controll is gonna have potential.

I had a very old elec/elec blaster from back in the day and was thinking of converting him to pvp. Back in the day when I played him he was pretty good at draining energy and I even solo'd the "Envoy of Shadow AV" with him (it took forever for me to to wittle down his HP but I was safe because he had no energy to fight back). A long while back the Devs changed it so that boss lvl or above pve critters will alway of 5-10% end no matter how much u sapp them. I was thinking that maybe if I updated him he might be ok at pvp which is why I asked for advice. Good thing I did not make this conversion happen yet. Back when I played this guy "A malta sapper was it!". There was no therm power set or any power set that sapped energy better than this type of toon.There was no pvp that is how old he is. So I will look into a elec/therm controller instead because it seems that time has pasted that old timer. Thanks for the advice all.

Here is my Elec/elec Blast for pvp. I tried to focus on damage, energy drain, and a little recharge. I want to know if this build is "good", "ok" or "totally sucks". If it totally sucks(which I am prepared to see many post with that in it) what changes would you make to improve it? I appreicate any advice good or bad. Yes I know this is expensive.

Thank U for the advice Oracle. I like some of your ideas. And great tips Rangle. I will make changes
2a. I did mess with the fighting pool in mids but it left me with little attack powers early so I took it out.
2b. Stealth is a personal choice for soloing(when i cant get a team) on those find/click the glowy missions so I wont have to fight though them. In fact i will duel build and put hasten in one and stealth in the other.
2c. I am lazy and get distracted by phone calls and such. So I love fly.
2d. I love this idea and will duel build with stealth and hasten.
2e. I have to see what power would replace for build up if I duel build with stealth & hasten.
2f. That also sounds like a good idea.
I will post my changes to the build. -

Hmm no replies. Maybe its my secondary. Maybe rad/fire or ice with fly easier to build for ranged def or soft cap S/L def?

I have seen 1-2 post about getting soft capped smashing/lethal defence on a rad blaster. I have tried to do this with no luck. Is it possible to build a soft capped smashing/lethal defence blaster with fly or at least some good ranged defence. Since I failed at the soft cap def. I tried to build this ranged def blaster.
