    Bugger. I just got the code, applied it successfully and then realised I had a brain-fart and applied it to my inactive account and not my main one. Grrr

    I'm guessing that there's nothing I can do about this?

    That's fantastic, thanks. Glad to know I was at least vaguely on the right track. I'll go through your build and see what I can learn

    mean you're not getting the most life enhancement out of HPT? Doesn't underslotting it for hit points partly reduce the effectiveness of all the investment in regeneration rate elsewhere?
    He was tweaking my build rather than starting from scratch, so that was originally my slotting. Was just trying to get as much S/L Defense as possible without understanding much else, heh. So you're saying it's most effective/optimal to slot HPT with another heal and forget the defense bonus?

    (I've currently got it slotted with 4 res IOs from different sets and only the same 2 Numinas...so I'm getting neither the Def nor the extra HP, heh)

    I'm pretty new to CoH (6 months with a wee break in the middle) and I'm struggling to learn my way round Mids, decent slotting, sets and builds...etc. Only have 1 50 at the mo, a scrapper and I'm trying to work out what to do with him, so any advice on build is apreciated.

    I'm guessing I should be aiming for softcap, 'cause my survivability can be variable. I'm guessing that the differences between when I'm feeling squishy and when I seem to be utterly invulnerable is due to different combinations of ATs and buffs on teams.

    I'll post my current build, and also one I was planning to respec to. I thought I should ask advice though before I burn a respec and spend a load of inf on new IOs

    Anyway, here's my current build (no tough, no weave...I'm guessing it's recommended that I should grab those):

    And here's a build I had a go at in mids...still not soft capped, but defences are a lot better. Got rid of attacks I've not been using in my chain (swap CS for CK as apparently they're the same damage, and no knockback, woo!):

    Nope. In the same way you don't get a choice of an Incarnate component at the end of a 50 TF or the ability to buy a Gr'ai Matter if you haven't unlocked your Alpha slot, you don't get a Notice of the Well either.

    It seems you can't get any kind of Incarnate component without being an Incarnate

    I love the market because, after a few pointers from this forum, I was able to get all my TOs, DOs and SOs when I needed them without having to worry about inf.

    I love it because almost exactly 2 months after starting the game for the first time, I'm sitting on over 1 billion inf on one character and half a billion on another (thanks again to tips and info from all of you that post here - and I know people have made bigger fortunes quicker, but I'm happy with the results, heh)

    Also I think spending a little time learning how the market works has helped me learn a lot more about IO sets a lot quicker than I would have done otherwise.

    And yes, I love seeing the blue 'You have sold...' message too

    I'm having exactly the same problem.

    Three toons, all hero-side (one has run a couple of vigilante tips but then reinforced hero, one hasn't completed a morality mission at all). All three got the Patrol badge over the last week and all three got the 'Monitor Duty' badge over the last couple of days.

    'Rapid Response Member' badge is showing 100% progress for all of them, but no badge yet for any. All have zoned and relogged multiple times since, over the course of regular play.

    I guess I'll try /petition
