I just switched my Bane Spider over to hero last night.

Now to make a Heroic costume for him.

Any chance of a free up of inactive names again like what happened with COV?

I have a question, are we going to see another flush of inactive accounts, thus freeing up Character names again?

After 4 years (?) since the last one with City of Villains, I would say we are about due again. Especially with the amount of new players I have seen lately and more than likely see with GR, it would be handy to not have to go through the pain of iterating hundreds of variants of a name when creating a character.

Yup, already put in for PTO and approved.

That looks like a missing or miss named texture file bug. I would try uninstalling and reinstalling.

I think a heat issue would be more systemic and not limited just to textures. You would be seeing huge slowdowns.

Has there been a definitive Red Name answer about how side switching will affect Super/ Villain group membership? I've searched as well as I know how and have come up with nada.

As far as Ultra settings, the "Choose Ultra settings" only does a minimum of things, I went in and raised a bunch of settings and it makes a big difference.
