It might cost me more endurance, but if I can get off 6 attacks in stead of 3 I have a higher chance of getting of a crittical hit or mutiple ones.

    [/ QUOTE ]

And a higher chance of one of those attacks missing, meaning you'll have to use even more endurance.

    [/ QUOTE ]

True, but I don't have an endurane problem even tho the costs are much higher.

May be at a higher level, when i've more toggles running and more attack powers, but then I also have stamina...
Might end up slotting 2x acc, 2x recharge reduction, 2x endurance reduction.

So far I'm applying the 3x acc and 3x recharge reduction to single target hitting skills. AoE skills I 3 slot with dmg&acc.

    3 accuracy in each power

    [/ QUOTE ]

Um, my maths isn't Rocket Scientist level, but reading these quotes makes me think you're not 3 slotting all your attacks with Damage........

    [/ QUOTE ]

Yeah I focus on speed and there for on rechare reduction, but I also use dmg booster... And for the record, I don't use Hasten...

I don't know if I did my math right either but, if I can double my damage by applying 3 dmg boosters I think it would be equal if I double my attack rate by reducing my recharge time with the use of 3 recharge reducers.

Those with dmg boosters might not get more then 3 attacks off on a minion before it goes down, but with in the same time frame I get of 6 attacks and have the same results...

It might cost me more endurance, but if I can get off 6 attacks in stead of 3 I have a higher chance of getting of a crittical hit or mutiple ones.

So far I'm having a blast with this setup and I like it more then the 3 dmg booster I used before.

Then your build is really, REALLY [censored] up.

    [/ QUOTE ]

[censored] up or not, it works fine for me. Eventully I'll replace it with slash but i'm only lvl 28 now and I don't need it at this time. Doing great with out it. past lvl 35 I'll be slotting it in to my attack chain.

Don't forget that, at higher levels, the amount of S&L damage flying around is proportionally lower. That makes Tough less useful. IH doesn't care what kind of damage you take.

    [/ QUOTE ]
Although that is true, the majority of damage at higher levels is still S/L.

    I say get both.

    [/ QUOTE ]

I was planning on getting both... Its better to have some thing get blocked/resisted then nothing at all. All little bits help.

well... you say you fear you won't use it...
    you're not a real scrapper.
the ethos of the scrapper is to be an absolute nutter and charge headlong into any combat, no-matter what the odds... it's what makes them so fun.
and if you use DP/IH before you run into those seemingly impossible battles, you'll most likely triumph.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Am I the only person who considers scrappers should use tactics and this "ethos" that scrappers charged in haphazard? Surely any toons success should be based as much around survivablity and not mindlessness along with getting the job done?

    [/ QUOTE ]

I've to agree with ya... Being able to heal damage is a great defense, but if your foes get to strong and hit to often I'm not gonna gamble with dullpain or instant healing that the will pull me through. I'll leave it up to a tank to charge in to a group of creates first... Once he has some of there attention I'll come join the fry and do what I do best.
  4. This is the roadmap i've bin following for my build,

    01 : Fast Healing
    01 : Strike
    02 : Reconstruction
    04 : Quick Recovery
    06 : Swift
    08 : Follow Up
    10 : Dull Pain
    12 : Combat Jumping
    14 : Super Jump
    16 : Integration
    18 : Focus
    20 : Resilience
    22 : Health
    24 : Boxing
    26 : Eviscerate
    28 : Instant Healing
    30 : Tough
    32 : Stamina
    35 : Revive
    38 : Shockwave
    41 : Focused

Brawl is part of my attack chain and most powers have rechare reducers slotted so that the few attack powers I have don't have any pause between them.
I've no endurance problem, unless i'm facing endurance draining attacks. I focus on hitting, so 3 accuracy in each power and so far it has bin paying of when dealing with purple mobs, I've feel like the only one good enough to deal with then in a team all to often
  5. I think I'm going with Instant Healing then... Even tho I fear I might not be using it often and it will be my standby "keep my alive panic power".

At level 30 I'll go for tough then...

    thx for all the feedback
  6. Oke, I think I'll go Instant Healing... But still have some doubts

How long does an unslotted instant healing last?
And whats the unslotted recharge rate?
  7. [ QUOTE ]
    IH is immensely more powerful

    [/ QUOTE ]
I know, but for me its much like dullpain or reconstruction away to heal my self during battle... And I don't use them much, so I look at instant healing as yet an other healing power that I might not use much, thats why I'm considering going tough (got boxing already)...

I'm asking for advice.. So keep the feedback comming ;-)
  8. I just made level 28 and so far I'm having a blast playing a regen/claw scrapper.

Now I've a choice to make... Go for the power Tough and become more resistante, a toggle I think I can keep up and running all the time. Or go with instant healing, heal like crazy for a short period of time and a long recharge time.

I've got reconstruction and dullpain, but I don't use them very often... In a team I use them alot more then solo, but still, most of the time there just ready for use.

I Believe going Tough might suit me better because, if I need healing I've got dullpain and reconstruction up and ready.

    Advice welcome...

Trust me, there are demons on the US servers.

I know what ya mean all to well, that was one of the main reasons I played solo for a long time on the US servers.

I gess it has some thing to do with player age, more older players on the EU servers I would say.

  10. Thx for the advice, I just leveled and got a tast of Integration. "And, Oh boy! Thats a makes a huge differance".

In the situation where I normaly would see my health bar get drained, at a steady rate, it now tiped the scale and its more balanced. Its still goes down, but now at a much slower rate. Reconstruction and Dull Pain really pay off now.

I'll take the advise and shift my focus to regenerating, more health, instead of defense, that would most likly take me to Health from the fitness Pool. But I'm not planning on taking that untill lvl 22 or later.

    Thx,

  11. Greetings all,

I've got a lvl 14 Claw/Regen scrapper atm and I like it alot. Going through levels 1 through 10 went very smooth and where very easy. From level 11 up till 15 where i'm now, it feels like, I'm hit very often and for alot of damage.
This is solo, versus small groups of 2 up to 6 foes at the time.
I can handle my self pritty wel, but I've to make heavy use of reconstruction and dull pain to keep my self up and running along with alot of inspirations... That doesn't feel right or at least not the extra amount of inspirations i've to buy to keep going, instead of using what I find along the way.

Now I have taken the path of Leaping as travel power and I've got combat jumping as a defensive power. But I've no clue how much defense it grants me and if its worth slotting with extra defense boosters. Most builds I've seen so far don't boost this power at all.

    01 : Fast Healing 3x Heal
    01 : Strike 3x Accuracy, 1x Recharge, 2x Damage
    02 : Reconstruction 3x Healing
    04 : Quick Recovery 1x Endurance
    06 : Swift 1x Run speed
    08 : Follow Up 3x Accuracy, 1x Recharge, 1x Damage
    10 : Dull Pain 2x Healing
    12 : Combat Jumping 1x Defense Buff
    14 : Super Jump 1x Jump

future power ... working on them...

Looking for as much info I can get on powers that will boost up my current feeble defense.

    Advies welcome

    thx,
