Aww, so sorry to hear. I played COH at the beginning for a long time, and then I cancelled for about 2 years. In January I came back and played blueside randomly one night and met Next Gen, a really great SG, so that kept me playing and having fun. I had to cancel for a while, jobs were not so good around here, but now I am back, glad to see Next gen still kicking, though I am more interested in playing Red side. Maybe I will join their villain counterparts, Purgatio. But it has been my experience that Red side is always quieter than blue side, for some reason. I just resubbed too, (And installing for the second time because my computer is out of commisiion temporarily, so i'm gonna try playing on a lappy.)

But anyway, I am working on my semi-new DB stalker. I know everyone says they are teh suck, but I think it's pretty fun, and those slicing sounds are so satisfying. Not to mention I had gotten her the Redcap knives from the valentine event, so she looks so slick. Time to dust her off and kick butt.

I have not really thought of her as a true villain, nor a hero in disguise or anything. I think of her as a girl using her talents to get by living in the rough side of town. If and when I get to RP with her more, I may flesh that out, but I like to get a feel for her in my head and then when RP comes along, I just jump in and see what comes out.

going on to 14+ hours now I am thinking maybe a lot of people are downloading for the training room, maybe that is why I am getting 23K/s. Well says 1 more hour to go! Then I can see which of my characters are still alive!

I'd be interested in the Ultralite RP. Basically I make a character and make a little backstory sometimes if i really like them, and i will just RP randomly. I don't make pre-planned story arcs or anything like that. I just like free form stuff. Right now my game is still patching (14+ hours) and I have no way of knowing if the character i intend to play with will be there or deleted, since I have been away more than 90 days. But I will start over if need be. I'm just playing for fun. And I hope to play Red Side for the majority of things this time around. So shoot me a tell @Argiope

I don't remember it being this long before. Dying to get back in game and see my old friends from Next gen and everyone. Is there a way I can speed up this process?

I think you are making comparisions that anyone can make with any number of books or movies or plotlines. I.E. the concept of the "love triangle" has been around forever and in every type of media, not just anime. Just check out daytime soaps.

As a writer, you have to realize that *everything* has been done before. There are *no* original plots.

What makes a story original is the thought and creativity you put into it, and the life and personality you give to the characters. After all, it is a story about *people* and their situations and relationships. I think our writer has been very successful here.

Hey! These last 2 chapters were fantastic! Though a bit sad. I'm glad that you are continuing them, and plan to involve the rest of the team more too. (BTW I change my forum name from Heidi OMighty to Argiope, to reflect my main CoH character now, since I don't play Heidi that much.)

Now I'm dying for Hope and Gabriel to get together. Kinda hinted at that. And I seem to get the idea that Luck and Michael are an item. And Daisy's competetition with Meltdown for poor Ken. So cute. I love this story!

Okay, thank you for pointing out that it was a flashback scene. Otherwise I would have been lost. LOL

Once again, your writing is excellent, but it would have helped me if you had put a little heading like: 3 years ago ... or something like that.

I was also not sure who Joy was, and thought you meant Hope, but now I see that it could not have been Hope because she wasn't there at that time, which still leaves the question, who is Joy?

But still, I have to say that you write at a level that most people just can't. I worked on a website (still do) where people would submit their own little fan fictions, and I was the editor-in-chief who had to approve and fix everything that got posted. About 90% of the stories I got were complete gibberish. Heh, needless to say, we don't accept stories any more.

Wow, you know I am so inspired to continue working on a story I put on the shelf a long time ago and haven't looked at since. It would make a perfect CoH fan fic.

You know what I did last night? I hopped onto a different server and made all my characters into Heroes and played with them for a few levels to get aquainted with them and their powers! It was so fun! Plus seeing them on the screen and doing them up in outfits and stuff. It was a blast!

I'm wondering, have you made up these characters as Heroes? I would be cool if you took a few screenshots of them, or made a cut 'n paste group photo from the selection screen. (That's what I'm working on as soon as I get them all made!)

Awesome! I LOVE Meltdown already! The black unitard, spider insignia, green eyes, purple hair - she reminds me of me. I hope she's destined for great things! (I have a black unitard just like that for my dance class. except that the whole middle is cut out and replaced with PowerNet to show the belly. And I'm getting a spider in a web tattoo on my back very soon, and I used to color my hair red and purple, although not anymore, and yes I have green eyes.)

As for Daisy, for a while I thought she and Dan were going to have something goiong on, because of all their bickering, but then, when she got SO JEALOUS of Meltdown ... I just know she's secretly in love with Ken, just like Dan said. LOL

That was great! I agree, nice way to bring them together. Poor Ken, he found out Rose is one of the baddies! Hey at least he's got Daisy!

(Now, are Hope, Faith, Luck, Gabriel, and Michael still in the story? Just wondering when they will come in.)
