    Well, it did something called "Checksumming" and then it went back to being stuck at file manifest...



    and then BOOM! It started loading!

    It's terribly slow though...but ah well, its working!
    Although...this has happened before and has stopped like halfway...i'll tell you if it doesn't work but thanks anyways if it doesnt!!

    Alright, Vista updated, I'm getting a new Graphics Card in a couple of days so I think I'm fine for now, the malware you said is gone, but with "All those background programs" do you mean the malware you mentioned? Or everything that showed up when i did the HiJack scan?

    Mine sometimes gets stuck at 'Checking Updater' as well.
    Im only on the Free-Trial though, so no wasting money for me! D:
    If this keeps up and no one gives any info on why this is happening or helping me. I won't be able to buy this game....

    Alright, so I downloaded the game yesterday night and it started loading fine on the Updater but then it just stopped and went back to 'Downloading file Manifest' I didn't actually see the change though, because i left it on for a while and when i got back it was at the file manifest part.
    I've restarted the Updater multiple times and my computer too. I have the Updater running and right now it's stuck at 'Downloading File Manifest'

    Ok, so i've just downloaded CityofHeroes and i'm on the Free-Trial for now.
    I start the game and the updater comes up, it says 'Downloading File Manifest' and then it starts downloading the files needed. Everything's going fine until it stops downloading and goes back to 'Downloading File Manifest'. I wait a while, but nothing happens for like 15 minutes....
    I restart the updater and now it's stuck on 'Downloading File Manifest'.
    I restarted it once more, but it's still stuck.

    Also, the download speed is crazy slow. x___x
