  1. Arc Name: That Which Defines Humanity
    Arc ID: 1484
    Arc Length: 4 missions

I made this arc back during closed beta and modified it because of some comments made on those forums. I believe I received four-star ratings from them. I then posted the arc on live when I14 first came out, and my arc was rated by ten people with a total of three stars. No one has really played it since.

In essence, I'm just curious as to the arc is actually mediocre or if I just ended up with a couple of bad ratings at the get-go (for what it is worth, I wish we were able to view the individual ratings we received through the MA system). If you could do that for me, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!
  2. Thanks for the comments on my arc. My idea was to make a hero group that only used melee attacks, but it is true that any character that can stay away from them (such as ranged characters or those with slow powers) makes them rather easy. I'll have to think about whether I want to give some of them ranged attacks or not.

As for the second mission, my idea was that, after you cleared the area out, it would be implied that Amy went inside the building as you left. I can understand why it would be jarring to receive text without anyone around, though (it'd be like talking to no one, really). I haven't tried this yet, but maybe I could get rid of the boss, keep it as a kill all, and then once the kill all aspect is completed, another requirement will pop up (that being a boss with Amy being captured in the group). I didn't want to just have an NPC following you around for the entire mission, hence why I opted for how I originally made the mission.

Finally, Westin never really was this much of an A-hole, but when I first made this arc I just pulled an NPC from the standard list I found to be one of the more vile characters. So although I did break out of his personality to an extent, I thought using an already-existing NPC (with a history linked to the Haven House) would be more interesting than just making some random character with a similar personality.

The idea of giving all the Valkyries shields is interesting. I wanted them to be diverse with their powers, but perhaps they'd be more unique if that common element was consistent with all of them.

    Again, thanks for the feedback.
  3. I just put the finishing touches on my first arc. No one has critiqued it yet, so I thought I'd post it here for that very reason.

Arc Name: That Which Defines Humanity
    Arc ID: 16628
    Length: Long (4 missions)
    Enemies: Custom
Difficulty: Medium-to-High (I tested the arc with a spines/regen scrapper and an ice/rad controller. The controller had more difficulties completing it, but it was still possible. Depending on what you are playing, it might be worth turning the difficulty down a bit. Contains 1 EB)
    Alignment: Villainous
    Author: @Mother Kicker

Description: A new hero group--the Valkyries--are rescuing oppressed individuals from the Haven House. Westin Phipps will not stand for such intolerable activities! Join him in his quest to obliterate the newly established super hero group.

Any comments or feedback on my arc will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
