  1. Will this do? I know it's old, but heck. Why not?
  2. Happy belated Halloween!

Is anyone sick on candy yet? We all know parents eat more of the kids' haul than the kids do
  3. More bikini Pix of you! hehehe See how I suggested that there are some there now?

Actually, your site is great! I can think of nothing else off hand. I did not even know the server went down twice a week for maintenance!

Thanks for your hard work, Tax_E.

GEL... Too serious! What about Freedom?

It sounds like many came here with RL friends. That is great! I am glad Liberty helped you feel comfy enough to stay when RL friends moved on. My RL friends have like... jobs... and families... and not much free time. LOL
  5. Thanks for the info, Michelle. I am in the process of getting some vid editing software and was curious. I like your videos.

There are East/West Coast servers? I had no idea! I'm a midwesterner so that must make me eligible for either coast

I know many here probably started right out on the Liberty server, but I was just curious if others like myself did.

My first server was Champion, being a player of that fine Super Hero PnP game. (Pen and Paper, not Plug and Play.) I played around there for maybe a month, tops.

Then I tried the RP server, got sick of dance parties, and was out of there quickly. I am not knocking that server. People have a lot of fun there. It just wasn't for me. Besides, if I truly roleplayed, I would never make it to my first mission! Mugging on every street corner, gang violence in between the muggings! So much crime to stop, so little time!

I do not recall exactly how I ended up on Liberty. It was either no more spaces left on Champion (alt-aholic here), or there was a specific hero name I wanted and Liberty was the first server with it available.

I may not recall the reason, but for the next 14-15 months I stayed on Liberty and had the best gaming experience I have had online. I am glad circumstances brought me here. (And now you're stuck with me! )

Let's see what brought others here!
  8. After poking about some more here, I see Dark Respite is really creative. I was curious what software you use to edit the films with, because it sure isn't movie maker! LOL

I look forward to seeing people's movies as I see in my future a weekend or two of YouTube viewing. I'll start popping the corn now to get ready. It is good to see so many people making videos now. It is fun, isn't it?
  9. Was that for one of the TF races back then? I do remember that memorable TF Thanks for the slot in your memories.

Good to see you, too, Blue. Are you sure you've been playing for 3 years? I remember your posts from way back when
  10. Yes, that first video was awesome. And they did use demoediting.

You can get video with the commands in game "/demorecord" and "/demostop". This makes a text file that you can playback and edit.

There are a few software programs available that will take footage while in game. The two most used (I think) are GameCam and FRAPS. I believe they have free downloadable, workable demo versions.

It has been years since I have worked with this, but as well as I can recall, those are the two main ways of getting the video.

You can put it all together using Microsoft's own Moviemaker for free or buy any one of a slew of better video editing software.

I left this very general as I am sure there is a thread devoted to the making of videos and the nuts and bolts of it. (I just haven't had time to look for it yet .)

I hope that helps a little bit.

  11. Hello Folks of Liberty!

It has been a looong time (4 years) since needing to retire for a bit, but I am back. (And happy to be back!) It is great to see so many of the same faces I knew when I was playing (GO LEGION!).

Most may not recognize my name so here are some aliases (aliasi? hehe):
    Paragon Star (old posting name)
    St. Valentine (movie star)
    Diamond Spike
    Psyclown

I hope to be back in the game actually playing within a week or two, so look out! The Camera may be rolling...
