Crisis averted.
*Sneaks off to go peek at stuff.*
Edit: Definately a neat costume! Wish mine turned out that good... Bah, I need more practice. :/ -
I think it'd be a URL tag, wouldn't it...?
Or maybe I'm wrong. At any rate...
Link craziness! AIIIEEE! -
Sounds kinda neat, actually. I mean, what better way to make someone feel special then writing an invitation in your own blood?
Not something I'd do, but I can appreciate it all the same... I prefer my blood in my skin, where it belongs! -

Why digital art? Why not a pen and paper? It's the drawing tools of champeens!!!
I do use Paint Shop Pro if I must, but I know a lot of people prefer Photoshop for digital art.
[/ QUOTE ]
I did drawrrrings in paper once. It was very hard and I kept passing out.
Then I got a pencil and things went better. So that's my tip for the day. Use a pencil or pen and not blood for ink.
[/ QUOTE ]
How messy -is- drawing with blood anyway? I mean, did you use just the finger and a pin, or was there some kind of device involved (like a quill)?
>> Not that I'm planning on doing any blood work anytime soon. But I was always curious! -
Yanno, most of the time, I really dislike 3d work... But I do sorta like this one.
I'd think of why, but I'm coffee-less. x.X And that's not conducive to proper thought.
Ace job, at any rate. -

Well, personally, I just use Animation Studio (which is usually packaged with Paint Shop Pro). I'm -pretty- sure you can likely find an older version (I usually run 5, though I have 9 on here... Just hate the interface) somewhere for a lot cheaper (and possibly free).
But, other then that, I have no clue. >.> -

Must be faster. -
I have a friend that specializes in a lot of Poser stuff... though for some reason, I'm not entirely sure that's the correct spelling, and they're not up for me to poke at. I'm amazed I'm still up, to be honest!
But, it is a pretty good 3D rendering program, though if you're lazy and just buy sets other people have made (clothing, body sets, faces.. Tons of things), it can get pretty costly. My aforementioned friend makes quite a bit selling off stuff he's created.
Though, that's the only 3d-rendering thing I can think of off the top of my head, to be honest. I'm more of a 2d person to start with. :/ -

Hey, I look at it this way. With all the insanity going on in here, it's only a matter of time before someone wonders.. 'Dude, what the monkey?' and goes to read the original post to see how the heck we got to this point.
Free advertisement!
Or something. -
Look at it this way, Mist... Menchi lasted the majority of Excel Saga (from what I've seen, anyway. Not seen it all, therefore can't say whether or not he survives the series) as an emergency food ration. Though he got pretty close..
And, it just looks a tad bit too long. I usually factor in the chin when I draw people at all, because oftentimes there's a fair section of neck taken up by the human jaw. *Sagenod.*
Then again... I can't draw for beans. -
I thankfully live in a rather dry environment...
Meaning I don't go outside half the time, and with the AC and fans running, heat is never really an issue.
But even on those rare days where it's ungodly hot, I'll still kick back to chill in my khakis and a t-shirt. Though, on occasion, I'll wear shorts or a skirt. Depends on whether or not I think I'll need a full assortment of pockets that day. >.>
*Hugs her pockets.* If it's less then 6 pockets, it's not worth wearin' for everyday things! -
I don't see how people can do things naked (other then the obvious. And get your minds outta the gutter on that one!).
I tend to lose focus whenever I try to do things without pants, let alone actually naked.
...What? Laundry day is a low-pants supply day! -
Not to nitpick... buuut... is her neck 'posed to be that long?
It's a really great piece besides that, if a little light on the detail. Certainly better then the junk I cough up.
Though I -do- make some rather impressive doodles. They just don't LOOK like anything. >.>
Rambling on throooough! *Boxes the squirrel, labels 'Emergency Food Ration' and sneaks off.* -
*Facepalm.* Fox = Noob.
I clicked 'Index' instead of 'Continue' for the quick-reply..
NOW YOU'LL NEVER KNOW WHAT I WAS RAMBLING ABOUT!
Sidenote: It might've been somethin' about french fries. I -am- hungry. -
Hee! Definately a cute style she's got. I may have to peek in there a bit more later...
Also, I -think- they did it like. Yesterday, or something, Rowr. A friend was complaining about the new fugly interface this morning, and s'the first I heard of it. :/ It is indeed oooglay. -
Sure, I look cute and cuddly... but I'm a real JERK!
I don't get why people like me at all. Buncha silly persons, I think. -
I'm trying to figure out why I didn't comment on this earlier... *Headscratch.* I know I've looked at it at -least- five times!
At any rate, I think it's a real nice piece! Especially given the inspiration for it.. o.O Wish my costumes ended up looking that good when I was done with them. Ah well.. maybe with practice. >.>
I can't wait to see how the rest of the piece will turn out, personally. Though I do have to agree - that hilt may be just a -tad- too big for practical use. Thinning it is probably the best option, but if you do that, you may have to thin the crosspiece a bit, too, to keep it from looking too weird. Not too much, though. Perhaps just in the middle, to give it a thinner appearance. More bowtie shaped!
But that's just my opinion on it. Personally, I'm a fan of oversized swords with manageable hilts. *Ponder.* Though I may have my sword terms confused today. Iunno, it's late, I'm tired from work, and my brain isn't working so good lately! :/
So I'ma zip ze lip for now. And possibry edit this afole too rong.
Edit: Nupe! I had it right. Brain is just fuzzy. Like a caterpillar. -

I'm a fan of Matsuura Aya and Takayama Minami, myself.
Aya is a soloist, and Minami is the main-vocalist for Two-Mix (and a VA for a -ton- of anime characters, including Nabiki from Ranma 1/2 and Conan Idagawa(sp?) from Case Closed.). Or I'm just nuts. >.>
Mmmm. Aya. -
Hee! Morning Musume is alright. Kind of hard to listen to sometimes, though.
