I suppose it's not 'necessary' for me to have slots open on the market for my more valuable items to sell and to bid on the items I would rather have. But having the slots open is sure something that I desire and find value in. Perhaps some people have no better use for their slots than to have salvage sitting in them. I strongly suspect that many people can come up with a better use of their slots than to hold a piece of salvage for sale.

I have seen SS do some really powerful things. A lot of people really enjoy it. I think it's a great set.
But I don't like it. -
And if you cant get more than what the vendor gives, then the items disappear forever when they are vendored.

Quote:Does 7-11 provide any value to it's customers? From the Wikipedia entry listed above
Rent seeking generally implies the extraction of uncompensated value from others without making any contribution to productivity...
I'm not saying its bad, it is what it is.
They do to me as a customer. They're there with what I want when I want it. Convenience is the value I get in exchange for paying 7-11 prices.
As a consumer I feel compensated. If you don't think I am compensated that's your business-- but not fact. -
Better for doing...what?

Quote:Would you please look at my build?Every time I see a request like "I need an x/y build with z caveat" or something similar, I always reply with the same.
For the record, I have been paid for builds. Some people are that lazy.
There're a number of areas where I think I may need help.
I go into more detail in the OP of that thread and in subsequent posts. -
There're a few instances where it makes sense to have one or the other, but most likely, your build won't benefit more from one than the other.

Quote:I think you may be able to use something else thats shorter than my prefix, but I forget what it is.using "down" makes your character go down. The fact that you have + and - next to each other simply cancel each other out.
All you need is "+". The "+down" is outdated logic that is not needed.
Thanks for reposting the reminder.
Once upon a time some patch broked it. I am glad it is fixt again. -
Quote:+down$$-down$$powexecauto Hibernate$$inspexecname RespiteSo +$$powexecname Hibernate$$inspexecname Respite will work but you will enter Hibernation before using the inspiration which is the opposite of the OPs request (I believe because you can't use inspirations while hibernated although I've never had a character with it so I don't know for sure).
?? -
+down$$-down$$powexecname Hibernate$$inspexecname Respite
I use a variation to turn on all my toggles
I think you may be able to use something else thats shorter than my prefix, but I forget what it is.
Some patch broke the shorter version and UI havent checked to see if it's been fixed -
Add a +down$$-down$$ in front and the respite will execute when you depress and the hibernate when you release

How badly do I need this?
Will I be severely gimped if I skip it? -
Hey Voltez Y, thanks for replying
Quote:It's a proc120, so the lvl only matters as to when you can slot it.First off, the build has no invisibility. Invisibility is useful for speeding. If you don't want invisibility, slot celerity +stealth lvl 23 or less.
http://wiki.cohtitan.com/wiki/Table_of_Special_IOsHowever, the upside of Procs is that they continue to work even if you exemplar way below their level. E.g., a level 50 Stealth in Sprint will work even if exemplared to level 10.
Why?
Unlike set bonuses, those enhancements get reduced when a 50 exemplars down since they are greater than 20%
http://wiki.cohtitan.com/wiki/Exempl...n_Enhancements
The math works out better for starting with the 42% and having it adjusted down than with starting with 25% an adjusting it by the same percentage. It also works better than starting with lvl 15 IOs @ 19%
Quote:Level 44: Combat Jumping <-- Take this earlier at least by level 25.
Quote:Level 47: Maneuvers <-- you took this power at 47, so it will be grayed out at lowbie SFs. No need to put a lvl 25 IO here.
http://wiki.cohtitan.com/wiki/Table_of_Special_IOsGlobals are Special IOs that act like Set Bonuses in that they are always on even if the power isn't activated and even if the power is greyed out because of exemplaring! However, the one thing that will shut off a Global IO is exemplaring more than three levels under the level of that Global IO.
Quote:Comments about the SFs in general:
- There are a lot of defeat alls in the SFs, so pick a primary that has some AOE attacks to kill faster.
Perhaps I will. Look for me in your global friends list. @cossatot. -
ambushes are not infinite
a stalker can prevent them iirc -
every time I see this thread I read it Edible Pets
I don't know why -

Quote:You may be right, but this is the toon I have to work with. You said low level. Are we talking around 25? Cause if so doesnt SS kick but over everything (barring the need for any Aoe that is) You get Rage at 18, and Knockout Blow at like level 3. (Okay, exaggerating, but way early) You get a solid attack chain with SS way early, and the Rage thing just kicks it into a new world.
I know Energy Melee does great ST damage, but it really is burst, and the attacks come in much later, right?
I don't think I would enjoy the mechanics of rage. Just doesn't seem like it would be that fun to me. I may be wrong though. I haven't played one past lvl 10 or so.
I have seen some SS toons do some amazing things and I think it's a great set and all. But, I also won't play stone armor for personal enjoyment reasons. -

Whats if I reposted it withe the title "The most penultimate brute which exceeds perfection"?
Would that get anyone interested by getting them riled up? -
I really can't imagine playing w/o Mids'.
Having the numbers to look at made all the difference for me in my builds.
