Juli Scott was always a sick girl, but a giftedly bright one. Getting together some parts over the years, the ten-year-old mechanics prodigy managed to cobble-together a friend. But that wasn't really enough for her. She wanted to see the world outside her room! Experience things that she wasn't able to.

So she made a VR unit, and hooked it up to her robotic friend. Now she can see and hear everything as if she were there herself. Programming her new friend with a heroic personality built up off the comic books that used to keep her company, and sent her off to live out her own fantasies of being a hero. Of being complete.

Thermal Kinetic has done a lot of good for the city so far, though some people wonder about her child-like sensibilities.

EDIT: Whoops. Forgot to mention - Getting to 98 is awesome! Here's to hoping he gets many more. Stuff like that is always fairly heartwarming to me, for some reason..

Clearly, you need to invest in one of two things:

A bunker
An escape pod

Chiming in again... while goofing around in Talos, I ran into none other then Fatal Mind! Twice, no less.

Didn't really need the help either time (People tend to freak out when I get low health on my MA/FA scrapper - riding the lightning with my self-heal is far too amusing for me), but I appreciated it all the same. Sadly, by the time I realized who it was, they were gone.

If I see them again, I'll try and point them this way.

It's always heartwarming to hear stories of people helping each other out.

Kind of odd, because I had a similar experience while Trick or Treating on my newbie tanker. >.> Some Dark/* Defender would see me struggling, and throw heals my way to even out the odds, and stayed around until I was safe before moving on.

Thinking back, maybe I should have thanked him. Was kind of tired and in the 'scrapper-lock' mode I've perfected on my main. Hmm.

Awesome piece, though, for an awesome reason. :3 We can only hope that more people will be motivated to lend a hand in need, not for the rewards... But that warm, fuzzy feeling.

EDIT: And I may have to fire up my Dark/Psi and see what I can do for other people tomorrow. One of those karmic wheel things - Get helped by someone, help others to keep it going.

I dunno - every time I see him he just stands there. But with shield I think you need to be a Sword scrapper or an Axe brute/tank. If we could get a sword option that would look like a billy club it would be cool.

IIRC, you just need to be anything that doesn't 'occupy' both hands with a seperate costume bit (ie: No Dual Blades, or Katana). They did mention specifically tweaking a few sets (including Stone Melee) to work with Shields. Not sure if they carried through on that, though.. >>

I have odd luck with weird names.

I'll get stumped in that part of char-gen, then just throw something in because I find it amusing ('No way I'll get this. '), and the next thing I know.. BAM! In the tutorial.

It'd been funnier if I had it on anything BUT a Fire/Kin, though, I'll admit. Most of my other names are a bit more imaginative/fun (Bubblegum Thunder, Peppermint Penny, 2um8l3z0n3, etc.).
