I really like the Plant set for Dominators or Controllers.

My problem is that practically everything is fun to play as far as I'm concerned.

I think I find Stalkers to be the least enjoyable AT.

If you come up with a character conception that you are really into and pick powers based on that then you will probably be more likely to like "playing" the character than if you just pick a power set and mini-max a character and "run" it to 50.

But then I like to "play" the game. I'm not trying to "work" the game.

I think you missunderstand, I mean to actualy play him to 50, no AE's or farms.

Also, I ask this because I have a concept for a character, but it would work with most AT/power customizations blueside or red.

Ok, there was a thread like this a while back, but quite a few things have changed, with the pvp changes, buffs and debuffs, along with two new Archetypes (ok new as in they came out since the thread.) So here is how it works, you make a list starting with the archetype you think is overall best in ZONE pvp, and ending with the one you think is the worst overall. The list should include EAT's and blue and redside archetypes.

Exactly. At the very least, dont have the AE manager contact them till level 20 or so, Ive met a level 40 who thought the sister psyche tf was an AE arc! It's ridiculous!

Here's my story. I've only had about three characters that I have genuinely enjoyed so much that I couldnt stop playing them to 50. My BS/SR Scrapper, Beta Sword, the first hero I ever made, My Rad/traps Corr, Metal Cobra, and, most recently, my elec/elec blaster, Cybernetic Kitten. (He actualy started out as more of a joke character, oddly enough.) Have any of you had a power combination that you just found to be so exciting, you didnt want to stop playing it? Something that was just so powerful, or maybe just so all around fun that you loved playing as it?

They showed a trailer of the upcoming City of Heroes movie. It seems that in order to make things more appealing to the mainsteam audience, Woody Allen will be playing Statesman, Morgan Freeman will be playing Manticore, and Robin Williams will be playing Lord Recluse.

It seems that in the movie, Nemesis (Played by Jack Black) and his best friend/Heterosexual life mate Backalley Brawler (Will Smith) will be forced out of their appartment building due to it being purchased by Countess Crey (Julie Newmar) in order to make way for a new chain of Snuckies convenience stores. BaB's and Nemesis, desperate for a place to live, will then dress up as women in order to live in an all womans boarding house owned by the Carnival of Shadows. There, they will learn how to love and get in touch with their feminine sides.

However, in a heartwrenching story of redemption and hope, Citadel (Patrick Stewart) will learn that he has a long lost daughter, who is infected with incurable chick cancer. He will then go on a soul serching journey to connect with the long lost daughter he never knew he had before she dies. Thankfully, he has help from a lovable pantless hobo (played by guest star Troy Hickman as himself) who will teach him to love again as they get mixed up with the lonesome drifter Castle (Samuel L. This is all capped off when Positron (Adam Sandler) is accidently sent back in time thanks to the time travelling car built by the eccentric genius Dr. Brainstorm (Tim Allen). Now, stuck in 1955, he must then make sure his father and mother marry while trying to figure out how to generate the 1.21 Gigawatts needed to get him back home.

Nope, I have been here since the month of the first anniversary, havent cancelled my account the entire time.

Ummm, this is odd. I've been in open and closed betas before and never had a problem with test but today I tried to log on, typed in my password and was told it was incorrect. I checked caps lock, retyped it several times, eventualy I looked at every key as I pressed it to make sure I wasnt pressing the wrong ones. Then I tried it on live and it worked fine! Help?

Let me clarify something here, because everyone’s taking Posi’s joke about Martial Arts a bit too literally. The only animations that robes look okay with are the basically the ones where you stand around fully upright. So the idle animations, a handful of powers, and a number of emotes. They get trashed pretty quickly the second you go into even a basic combat stance, much less something as extreme as taking a knee to rest. There are numerous core animations (animations that are shared between all player characters) that would be problematic with attempting to add full length robes to our current player model skeletons. That's before even getting into specific powersets or ATs.

This is not a limitation because of Martial Arts. It’s an issue with all player characters.

So why can't you guys just make a special set of animations for anyone in a rob, such that anyone who takes a robe costume piece never moves their legs more than with small steps. I mean, you'd only have to make special versions of what, 80 or 90 percent of the animations? That doesn't seem so bad...

Some of the items can go really well together, I have made quite a few costumes that I get complimented on made out of mixes of cyborg, enforcer, justice (I still love justice, I consider it one of my favorite sets after all these years.), and occasionaly, vanguard and stealth. I have seen many people who have made all sorts parts go together well in ways I would not have thought of. This system does work very well. In fact, my main complaint other than costumes we know wouldnt work with some animations, is that we dont have enough costume parts that exist outside sets. The only ones that are not made specificaly for some sets that I remember getting in a while would be pain and layered shoulder pads. I really wish we had more things like this to get more players to give more thought to the costumes, instead of choosing full enforcer heavy. (I see WAY to much of that. Seriously, I used to love the set, now I despise it, at least when most of peoples costumes is made up of it.) Think of the details you can add to full helmets, I wish we had more items like that, that were not met to go with any one set.
