How adorable. Very thoughtful as well. Clever too. Donating to charity in the art itself, while making the charitable donation of adding in several other characters in the work itself. I'm sure everyone was happy to be included.

Yay! -
Thankfully no one has yet commented on my pathetic attempt to make one joke even funnier. All this back and forth discussion has me rethinking the whole thing.
Well, I thought it was funny anyway. Just the thought of TA getting smacked upside the head for having spent all his money on art was amusing at the time.
After all of this commentary I will happily take back my playful editing and refrain from any more playfulness on my part if it is requested. -

Well Sass probably added up how much money he spent on art and gave him a slap upside the head! :P

Fixed for you, Rowrsie.

Close, but I think I have the more accurate account of the incident in question. -

That's the best link Grave, been looking everywhere for that book, it's out of stock! Thanks a ton!
[/ QUOTE ]
You're very welcome LJ - I'm glad it's helpful to you too. It's sad there's only a dozen pages on the link if it's out of print I'll do a library search for it though.

My wife just ordered me a used copy... (see why I love her so ) but after reading those pages, here's a quick result on the sketches I'm doing for Larissa's upcoming piece:

Sorry to hear. I guess that's life though. Stuff happens and you roll with it.
[/ QUOTE ]
lol The only thing changing is the choices i make. I have just stopped investing my money into art is all. Life happens every second it's true but it's all in the choices we make and has nothing to do with 'rolling with it' at all.
I am and will always be an Artwhore and will continue to support the arts in other ways thats for sure. Afterall, i'd say 310 pieces is a good stopping point wouldn't you?
[/ QUOTE ]
I think I meant it in the sense that you made the choice to adapt to the situation (or "roll with it" as I had worded it) rather than continue in the same direction and inevitably end up in circumstances that you might regret finding yourself in. To continue the analogy that may be knocked out cold or battered and broken in a ditch somewhere.
Anyway, life (which is as much our own making as the universe itself) was carrying you down a certain path and you decided that you didn't want to keep heading down that path. From the sound of things you made a good call. Anyway, I hope things work out for the best. -
Sorry to hear. I guess that's life though. Stuff happens and you roll with it.

I'd love to be an actor in this movie.
Edit - Any idea of what I'd have to do to get in this movie? Seriously. -
Happy Birthday!
(Please note I wasn't late for this one). -
Ack! I was away for this thread. v.v;
Well, err... "Happy Birthday!"
I feel awkward showing up late. >.>
And Happy Birthday to Larissa while I'm here.

You know what's scary, when you're favorite browsing, and you stumble across someone who faved one of your commissions :P
[/ QUOTE ]
I have very few of my dA submissions favorited. Those who did, I have no idea who these people are. -
I'm kind of suprized by your favorites. What suprized me is the ones that I didn't actually have selected as favorites already, and there were very few of them. I use the past tense here as I now have them all added, along with a few others I stumbled into along the way.

Ok. I see where the problem was. I'm already all over her with favorites. -
I favorite things for the following reasons:
1) Great artwork

3) Female subject matter
4) Exceptionally adorable content
5) It's artwork that I have commissioned or has been gifted to me
Editted to add the following:
6) I'm also particularly fond of anime/manga as well as 3d. -

That's cos he uses stock model photos and such. He's a PhotoShop wizard. A "Photomanipulator".
[/ QUOTE ]
I'm not the biggest fan of photomanipulation. You can do some very interesting things with it however. I prefer to see it used with 3d rather than live action. The techniques used also apply very well to other types of art. All the same I like some of the ideas and designs that this artist comes up with. I often favorite pieces of artwork not because I think the artwork is incredible, but the ideas behind it are interesting enough to make note of.
