  1. They could remove Vanessa for the character who completed the UG, much in the same way Cleo is gone in Pretoria if you choose to kill her. If offered in feedback they may can do it before this issue goes live, I have no clue.

Also, consider that Tyrant could just leave Earth to Hammi if he so choose. In the novels (I think in the game also) he did leave Earth for a while much like Superman did in the comics. Choosing to stay, and attempting to save humanity was heroic, even if he went about it in the wrong way.

Just checked (because I don't care about Time Manipulation) It does alternate between leading with Left and Right. My bad.

Pretty sure it is L. Jab, R. Cross every time. I will hit up the training dummy after the ustream today.

The t1 is a 1+2 punch every time. The t2 rotates between a left elbow, and a right uppercut.
  5. Just don't skip initial strike and the flow of the set is very nice. Once you have Rib Cracker it levels out very nice.

Yeah, not the smartest thing to do if there are other options. It is also best to aim for the soft parts of the other person's face if you must do it.

But any way, as StJ requires purchase, and Zwill says the new beta testers will not have points, people will have to find a CB tester who has StJ to see it.

When I saw the hands and the fog on the "stage" it became more funny. It does make me think of a GWAR concert.

Still, I know how it would make me feel. It is not that I am unprofessional, it is that I am human.

Nope, I agree constructive criticism, and even outright disliking them is great feedback. I was referring to those who go out of their way to make fun of them.

Because the streets have their own form of justice.

It is sad that we have come to think this way, but I can see why, and actually have the same fear. This game has a bad habit, and history of keeping the best costume options for just the NPCs.

In this one instance, I really hope we are wrong to feel this way.
  14. Makes one wonder how many members of the art team are thinking "&#^$ you guys!" right now.

Second: I really wish bosses were more epic. by that i mean i love that they are more stylish as shown but why not an aura (ghost aura for death for example). also not sure why you chose PINK for the death mage, maybe in orenbega pink represents death but around these parts it would make me laugh not cower in fear.
Yeah, have to say I am not a bi fan of Pink, or Purple either. I think exploring new colors for the death mage would be a good idea. I think you should go with Black and Red, but I have been told it is over used. Perhaps that is because it looks GOOD.

Still, it's unquestionably better than the first new look and at least it looks "mystical" now, if not CoT.

Cut down on the spikes, lower the muscular definition and loose the armor in favor of loose clothes and you've got something. That spiky tutu just really doesn't work. A thigh length robe similar to but slightly longer than the martial arts robe would work much better. They're mages, not warriors so they use their magic instead of their muscles. They'll be slender or slightly overweight but they aren't going to be ripped and cut.
Except they can steal whatever bodies they want. If they can pick and choose, they are going to pick Captain America over the 90 pound weakling that Steve Rogers was. I am sure they are going to go for the bodies that can run through those caves, and up those stairs as opposed to the one that breaks a sweat getting off the couch.

But they are NOT Circle of Thorns. There's a whole THREAD of people saying they are not CoT outfits. And I'm pretty sure that should count for something, right?

Edit: 'Finest Hour' comment aimed at the total disregard of the CoT current look and all that. Not meaning the costumes were bad. /clarify
The thing Tech, is we really don't know how the rest look. Now, I can agree that what we have seen is a change in direction from what was. I am not convinced that the higher level mobs don't look better, and more in line already. I am again saying that I am going to wait to pass judgement.

I am betting that if they had the tech and skill to do the new look from the beginning, they would have.

I'm not knocking the art team, far from it. They do awesome stuff. But you have to take the bad with the good as an artist (I should know...) and this was NOT their finest hour.
Yeah, I have to disagree with most of this. I think these costumes are some of the best things they have ever done. It is all relative to one's perspective.

Ok, in the interest of making this at least peripheral to the topic at hand, has anyone read the Codex Alera stuff from Butcher? Is it worth bothering with?
Each book about 3 times each. I like this style of fantasy, where the good guys are actually good guys, and do epic heroic things. Needless to say, I am not a fan of the Game of Thrones books.
