New theory:
Leery requires you to have both un-respecked badges.
Missing one badge or trading in the un-respecked badge for the respecked badge will turn off Leery.
Yes, this doesn't make sense, but that may mean that Leery is slightly bugged. Still needs confirmation. -

Well they are obviously all his illegitimate children.

Maybe they're clones of Manticore.
Since Manticore is so skilled, they created a whole army of clones of this one hero.
No, wait, that's just too stupid a plot device to ever be used in any fictional work. -

In regards to Archmage Tarixus. Previous to last night..he would not offer me anything nor was he onmy contacts list. Last night I did a mission that involved the CoT and gained the Weed Wacker Badge. Today, upon speaking to Archmage Tarixus, he added himself to my contact list and placed himself on my Sharkhead map. It seems the Weed Wacker Badge is the key to unlocking Archmage Tarixus.
It should be nkown however that I also possess the Lorekeeper Badge. So wether ot not you need both badges to unlock him as a contact I cannot tell. But you most certainly need the Weed Wacker Badge.
[/ QUOTE ]
I did Tarixus' missions and I do not have the Weed Wacker badge.
Are you sure it wasn't that you leveled up into Tarixus level range that enable you to start getting missions from him? -
I should also mention that even though Doc Buzzsaw is listed as 25-30, I'm assuming that should really be 25-29 as most leveling ranges are figured.
If someone should get Bling at level 30, please see if you can get Doc Buzzsaw to give you a mission, to check this out. -
Update:
Thanks to this thread, I stopped my leveling at 29.8 so I wouldn't outlevel Doc Buzzsaw. I did the Virgil Tarikov (sp?) Strike Force again in CaD, auto-exemped to 20. I was earning no xp, just infamy (and prestige). During this SF, I dinged the Bling badge (1 mill xp).
Please note that I was the leader of this SF. That's right, even though I was 'too high' in level, it allowed me to start the SF and then auto-exemped me.
When I was finishing pwning Bat'Zul, I promptly went to Doc Buzzsaw. Doc has two mini-arcs with two souvenirs for you. No badges, no temp powers, no timed missions, no AVs or Heroes (but one Elite Boss, so you can avoid the warning to bring friends). I leveled to 30 while in the middle of the second arc, but wisely forewent leveling. Doc continued to give me the rest of the arc's missions.
Doc's missions are a Stalker's paradise. While the devs altered many click-the-glowie missions to involve some battle, they didn't get around to these missions.
[You do know that the highest xp/hour rate can be achieved by running to the mission objective and just grabbing the mission xp, right? This, of course, is provided that you can run to the mission objective without been seen and dying. Stalkers and those with stealth powers have no problems. Superspeed's stealth (and knowing basic CoH/V layouts) is just as effective and faster. If you go this route, put your diff slider is on easy, so as not to crowd the halls with mobs blocking your way.] -

Arbiter Leary is right next to Arbiter Frederick, consult your map.
To find Crimson Revenant, go to the front door of the Crey buiding (where the Sci and Tech stores are marked on your map). Face away from the doors and you'll see a building in front of you. He is on a ledge off to the right.

No, Arbiter Lupin is next to Arb. Frederick. Lupin is the guy you go to to trade in your respec and actually respec.
Leery (note spelling) is on top of a mount in the southern peninsula of Primeva Isle (581 yards south of quartermaster on that isle). -

Am I missing something, I hit with shadow maul fairly often.
Is it just ranged cone attacks, exclusive to certain ATs or heroes?
[/ QUOTE ]
I tested it with Headsplitter, Golden Dragonfly, Shadow Maul and Torrent. The bug affected all of those powers, so I told the programmer to check the code for how Cone powers work -- and that is where the bug was.
[/ QUOTE ]
Could you also test for whether the range enhancements for cone attacks is increase both the range and the angle of the cone? It feels like range increases in cone powers are increasing the angle and not the range at all. Thanks. -

Aw, thanks guys, for all the well wishes. Very nice of you.
I'm sure the hardcore criticism will begin again on Monday.

Why wait?
Little nitpick: The background story had a link to a Top Secret Archive. Since when is an article in a public paper a Top Secret Archive?
--------
WRT: Blue Steel... nice to see the members of the chorus get a chance to do a solo. It would be nice to see some of the other 'named' heroes take a turn in the spotlight. For example, during the End-of-Beta Event, we had some members of the Freedom Phalanx which was cool, but than the other player-controlled heroes were Longbow Agents. Would have been nice to use the other named and seldom used heroes such as:
Blue Steel
Coyote
Ghost Falcon
Valkyrie
Mynx
Luminary
Swan
Infernal
Numina
Woodsman
Maj. Richard Flag
Gen. Hammond
Shadowstar
Sunstorm
Some of these would have been more logical than War Witch or Ravenstorm. At least they're alive.
Also, imagine a level 50 monster Kheldian... <shudder> -
What's overpowered?
With my Necro/Dark MM, I took on by myself, with no problems, red bosses and a yellow elite boss.
However, that's when I controlled the environment, was prepared, and got the drop on them. Whenever I accidentally agro'ed a red boss and didn't run from the fight, I died.
It's only with strategy in place that I feel quite uber. I can't charge these types of foes willy nilly. And no noob could do what I do since I have a very cleverly min/maxed build with synergistic use of powers. Nor can I own live opponents in PvP with my build... they wouldn't fall for my tactics like the AIs do.
So, is this overpowered? -
Synapse's line:
[ QUOTE ]
Now I know why you villains are always so cranky; there isnt a decent place to eat within miles.
[/ QUOTE ]
I responded right away with, "Eat me."
Now, as a MM, I was staying away from direct contact with Synapse (and all monster class foes). And so, after my riposte, I see Synapse start to move around through the crowd, and I get nervous that he's looking for me for that response.
Luckily, I have Super Speed, too, and I let all the melee-ers stay inbetween us.
Synapse also seemed eager to run away every time I Darkest Night-ed him (-ACC), but I kept up, mostly.
