  12. Not interested in resistance set bonuses, at least not that the current numbers that Devs consider to be acceptable.

    That said, I think they look pretty neat. Maybe revise the AB one to something of lesser value that fires more often?

    Oh no, something terrible has happened to your base! Was it a natural disaster? A gang of looting Skulls? A Rikti bombing? A jealous Hellion's girlfriend? Whatever the cause, a total disaster has hit your base leaving you with nothing but wreckage! How creative can you be at turning a mess into a beautiful base? Thirty Designers will be selected to see who can best salvage their "Disaster Base"!


    • Anyone who wishes to compete may enter by filling out a short form linked at the bottom of the post.
    • Contestants will be chosen based on creativity of their answers, passion for designing, and skill level.
    • Entrants may choose to link up to 3 screen shots of previous base work.
    • Having previous base building experience is not a requirement; a variety of contestants will be chosen.
    • Entries will be accepted until June 24th. Contestants will be selected by June 28th and will be invited into bases from June 28th to July 1st.
    • Contestants will be posted on the forums and will be notified individually via email.
    • Non-VIP players may enter, but must realize that the prizes they win may be limited by their Paragon Tier level.

    • Each contestant will be given a "disaster" base to resurrect and design. Each base will have exactly the same number of items (wreckage) and an additional 50k prestige (disaster relief funds).
    • Contestants may not do anything to earn or buy more prestige for the super group. Part of the challenge of this contest is designing with only the materials provided and a small amount of prestige.
    • Contestants may not delete any of the preexisting wreckage. You may move it or reposition it, but you may not delete it. You must use the wreckage in a creative way.
    • Any player who does not have access to Paragon Rewards base items may request that a PERC Rep drop them off in the base.
    • Contestants may design only the given "Disaster Base" room, the base entrance will NOT be judged.
    • Design/Building time will end on July 20th.
    • Judges will tour bases between July 21st and 25th.
    • Bases will be judged without the contestants present. Contestants may email a summary/description of their base to be considered during judging.
    • Bases will be judged on: creativity, difficulty, use of wreckage in design, overall aesthetics, and cohesion.
    • There will be 3 overall winners selected and up to 10 Honorable Mentions.

    • Overall Winners (3)- 2 Billion influence, a set of ATOs (player's choice), and an Olympian Guard costume code!

    My Fire/Fire is a lot of fun. I destroy stuff. I have melee and ranged and I can survive... sure not the best, but it works.

    As far as Destiny goes, my blasters grab Rebirth and then if I feel I need it comes Clarion.

    Hybrid I went with melee radial and assault radial - both work great

    So you need to realize there are a bunch of IDF that aren't actually on the counter in the first 30secs of the trial and obviously the boss targeting as you said is important... but I guess you're assuming it's full of random people and don't have high expectations? It is quite easy to blast or punch a boss vs something lesser and still be efficient time wise -- not to say that you MUST cherry pick them, just keep it in mind.

    And what I ment was that when you already have to do it numerous times missing over 5% each run really adds up and ultimately causes you to do yet another run. I also have the characters to back it up, as I unlocked over a dozen characters Thursday evening all taking at most 5 runs with several only taking 4 and few just requiring the first mob in the 5th.

  20. They knew this would be an issue, time will fix it.


    As to farming it: I've seen up to 25% on the first phase atleast, maybe more if you are good. The average run yeilds like 22% normally. People that are getting sub 20% are missing a large chunck and doing it poorly

    I personally like the target rich enviroment and all the chaos.

    I've also completed the trial, it's fun as well, but my objective is iXP, so that is -not- the best course of action for my time.

  22. Looks good, but Lots of energy dmg these days ...

    Some possible ideas:
    • change out Whirling Smash for two sets of 3 to get 4.38 E/N defense, cause you don't need AoE numbers as badly
    • switch taunt set to Mocking B. to level out some defenses maybe. Adjust sweep and Hide to make up for the regen loss?
    • Remove Pana Heal in Physical Perfection for Perf Shift +end - unless your end is totally covered
    • You don't need the last 2 set bonuses in Dull Pain, slot something else to improve power (maybe heal/rechs)
    • Honestly you could change out 2 in Titan Sweep to make up for any regen bonus loss if need be

  24. Just a few things from looking at it, I suggest:
    • At least 1 KB IO in one of your powers, travel or defensive is usually easy to work in
    • See if you can work the Grav Anc proc into your Tenebrous immob since that's the one you bee spaming the most more than likely
    • Get some kind of damgae into Abyssal Gaze, to me it's basically your t3 blast
    • Why so much Concealment? You could pick up Combat Jumping and still slot lotg and get better usage
    • I usually put more Heal slotting into Drain Psyche, since that is the most important part of the power IMO
    • Fly is overslotted with the current slotting of Afterbuner -- Take a look at the Totals Window > Misc Buffs for adjustments

    So to answer your question: Yes I think you could give up some recharge, just a bit, and increase your survivability and efficiency quite a bit.

    It's the standard badge reporter combined with information about the individual zones (contact locations, what stores sell what, info on the various mobs in the zone and the levels, as well as a breakdown on the different story arcs and badges that can be gained in each zone) Basically you can just look at an entry and see if this zone is "complete or not".

    Each contact listed will also have a breakdown of the arcs they provide, souvenirs they grant, badges, and a small break down of each mission in the arc. It will also list who introduces them and who they introduced. If they are unlockable, it will show you if you have or have not unlocked them.

    Each Story arc will provide merits returned, missions in the arc, and the rewards that can be gained.

    Task forces will do the same as story arcs, plus give a general strategy for getting whatever badges there are. (Master Of on trials for example)

    Like I said, it's mostly geared towards a help file, but I'm implementing it via popmenu as well.

    I've already got zone info, contacts, and Hero side story arcs mostly done, just need to finish the rest. I'm thinking maybe a week and half from now.
