  1. Thanks! I do have a bit of trouble drawing highly "geometrical" shapes (I'm a total free hander) so, drawing guns demands a TON of time and erasing and redrawing and constantly using references.
  2. "Gunbunny" would totally be a 007-ish petname for a Bond Girl...

Also, I love drawing lips. It's the part I have more fun with. The cloth I went for a more "extravagant" feel to it (I mean, normal silk isn't that sparkly (it does look more like latex), but I felt, what the heck, lets go for razzle dazzle and make the entire piccie glamorous and shiny. I like the tattoo too, but I'm afraid I can't take credit for its design: it's actually the official coat of arms of the BOPE unite of the Rio de Janeiro Military Police.
  3. When I look at this picture, it's funny, but I start to wonder how a MA scrapper manages to apparently own an arsenal that would put any AR blaster to shame.

    Lt. Torres and the Taurus

Still, I never really drew many guns and I found myself lacking the skills for it, so I decided this was an excellent opportunity to challenge myself and see how many different types of weapons I could draw (Lt. Torres here was part of a gun-happy Military Police unit in Rio de Janeiro). At the same time, I decided I was also going for a different feel\look and wardrobe with each piece... and so I give you the James-Bond-poster look!

Turns out said unit (which does really exist) has quite an extensive list of armament, and I'm afraid I'll run out of ideas to have Torres displaying her guns. Yes, a white bikini has indeed occurred to me!... Anyone would care to make suggestions to help me come up with other looks\feels for the next pieces?

Sweater kittens? Oh my.... *has visions of kittens running around in sweaters* Too... adorable! *colapses from cuteness overload*

Ahem, sorry... Being a non-native english speaker at times means we get interesting interpretations of things people say. At least, you didn't mention someone blowing out their top.

Aw, thanks! I think she looks terribly adorable, but she lacks a little in the.. ahem... chestage area (unlike say, Lady Recluse) -- it's always a challenge to try and draw someone who's cute but not necessarily a bombshell.

    Gunbunny Torres

This is my very own scrapper, Lieutenant Torres from the Delta Force SG. Originally I rolled her as a AS blaster, but it wound up not agreeing with me so I dropped the character. The lineart for this had been made during that time, and for that reason, I dropped it as well and never completed.

A while later I reroled the character as a MA scrapper and started having a lot of fun with her and the group she fell with. And so today I decided to stop being a bum and actually go to work on her drawing. Took me about 3 hours to paint, and I'm happy with her lovely skintone (seeing she's half brazilian, I needed to give her that warm, tanned caramel skin).
  7. Everyone hates the Circle of Thorns, and their cooky lairs... but everyone loves their "nice" brethren, the Oranbegans, who are quite nice and trusting.

Of course, things changed slightly after Archmage Camila Montenegro dropped by with her Magical Punch for the Oranbegans' yearly Samhain festivities

DAMN, that's what I call a party (Oranbega was never the same after Cam dropped by)

DAMN, That's What I call a Party Take 2: Yukiko: "Yep, Camila was here, alright. I recognize the REALLY spiked punch.
  8. Oh.... I had no idea that a yearly enrollement was required, I thought it was mostly free-for-all.... being that the case I will regretfully withdraw my entry, and hopefully catch you all next year.
  9. Final version of my entry. Lady Recluse is STILL telling you to get "On your knees, dog!" -- I'd obbey if I was you. Chicks with red eyes are scary.
  10. Lady Recluse says "On your knees, dog!"

Early pencils, I should have a finished version with color by tomorrow. I went a little wild with this, and rather than just making a Recluse with boobs I had fun playing with his costume.
  11. This one's a favourite of mine, done to celebrate the amazing meeting in England for the Fletched Alliance SG -- and it stars all the people present there.

    You can see it here.

The big headed critters first appeared in this silly drawing.

Dead smexy. And the other day when I saw Ragnarockette in-game her costume there was cool too.

Which one? I also love her Valkyrie armour... but I need also to do one with her cute bookworm civilian clothes. I think it would look awesome -- apparently, and to my unending surprise ((several male friends swore it to me)), it seems boys find girls with glasses cute.
  13. Actually he does... the problem is, the first version of the arm had to be unmusclified... because my scrapper was sporting some impressive bicep.

And even now, the arm looks quite muscled...
  14. Being one of those "dirty Rpers" (no, not dirty like THAT) as a buddy from Victory would say, I at times find myself wondering how can I explain certain powers from my character's origin POV. I mean, how can someone who's magic in origin can pull up something like Focused Accuracy?

Well, going back to my roots of watching cartoons while I was a child, I did remember the whole Thundercatty "Sight beyond sight" thing Lion-O had going with his sword and thought it would be quite a cool thing to incorporate in my explanation.

I do have a tendency to overanalyze things. Oh well, it gives me good themes for drawing. The problem with this one is that it became so pencil heavy that I didn't feel brave enough to ink it and colour it, so I wound up not finishing it completely, and so it's pencil only.

    You can see it here.

Also, I needed a lot of referencing. My brother kindly acted as a model for the arm pose otherwise I wouldn't be able of drawing it.

    Nice...but where are the stones?

    [/ QUOTE ]

*twitch* Oooh, the wrong answers I could give to that question. Let's just say.... that they're in her feet. You know, Rooted and all that jazz.

Although, now that I think of it, a pebble bikini could be fun....
  16. Well, I once played with a similar notion, but not in the way that the character had multiple personalities, but rather she, being a sort of, "infiltration" specialist and a series of fake identities, she had a different costume for each identity.

Still what you which to accomplish might be a fun challenge, and you can probably complement it with the Invention Temporary powers...
  17. Well... Ragnarockette is still trying to get used to all these strange newfangled devices in Midgaard. She hasn't got a cellphone yet, but you can get easily hold of her by hanging at Perez Park lake early in the morning, where she takes her morning swim... although she doesn't realize why suddenly, all Skulls in the neighbourhood keep hanging in the banks all the time.
  18. I finally convinced myself it was time to just make a stone tank. I mean, everyone loves a Stone Tank, right? And everyone wants to be their friend!

So, being a needy bint, I went and made my little Valkyrie, Ragnarockette. Which then lead me to this.

Yes, I know it's totally an exploitation shot. Forgive me, I'm weak. It needs some massive improvement (namely in my line hating ways) but not bad, I think, seeing I painted this with a mouse.
  19. Thinking from an IC POV, I once wondered how SG go around recruiting members.

A lot of free time, a large tablet of chocolate, and a talented friend to do the leather and skin brushing (You rule, Noland) later and we get this...
