Sight Beyond Sight
wow, that was a really nice drawing, very impressed, but im just a little no name who posts here and there, but I liked it
i'm sure that arm pose was a bummer to draw.. even with a live model to help.
regardless of that, the drawing came out awesome.. great concept, too. it would be cool to see it inked/colored though..

Very cool! I love the idea and the eye on the back of hte hand.
Very sweet interpretation!
"City of Heroes. April 27, 2004 - August 31, 2012. Obliterated not with a weapon of mass destruction, not by an all-powerful supervillain... but by a cold-hearted and cowardly corporate suck-up."
Very nice!

Nice style, yer brother's arm is hot! j/k
Actually he does... the problem is, the first version of the arm had to be unmusclified... because my scrapper was sporting some impressive bicep.
And even now, the arm looks quite muscled...
Being one of those "dirty Rpers" (no, not dirty like THAT) as a buddy from Victory would say, I at times find myself wondering how can I explain certain powers from my character's origin POV. I mean, how can someone who's magic in origin can pull up something like Focused Accuracy?
Well, going back to my roots of watching cartoons while I was a child, I did remember the whole Thundercatty "Sight beyond sight" thing Lion-O had going with his sword and thought it would be quite a cool thing to incorporate in my explanation.
I do have a tendency to overanalyze things. Oh well, it gives me good themes for drawing. The problem with this one is that it became so pencil heavy that I didn't feel brave enough to ink it and colour it, so I wound up not finishing it completely, and so it's pencil only.
You can see it here.
Also, I needed a lot of referencing. My brother kindly acted as a model for the arm pose otherwise I wouldn't be able of drawing it.
