So, think it will be available at midnight pacifiic time, or not until morning? :P

OK. Disabled Cooliris and Voila! How strange... I'll have to email them to make sure they know cause it's a pretty cool addon.
-
Oddly enough I do have that plugin.... odd that an image plugin would cause a forums problem, but I'll get rid of it and see what happens.

Quote:I hope you aren't limited like that though, in that villains are loyalists and heroes are Resistance, cause I want to make a stalker in the resistance. The "epic new storyline" covers 1-20 - and you get to pick loyalist (villain) or Resistance (hero) almost from the start, as Positron said you can start making choice in the new tutoial.
But that's just for the people who start off in Praetoria, for existing Heroes or Villains above 20, I'm totally sure there's going to be some 20+ content to allow them to switch sides, as the 1-20 seems to be designed around the idea that you're a Praetorian, rather than a visitor from another dimension. -

Nope. Oh well i have the "IE Tab" addon for Firefox so I can just use it.
-
Weird. Might be one of my plugins then. I tried clearing the cache, and it still doesn't log me in. IT says "Thank you for logging in blah blah blah" then when it reloads, I'm not logged in.
-
Anyone else trying to use Firefox but unable to lately?
Basically what happens is I am told I need to login, I try to login but it just keeps on that screen, like it refuses to save the cookie even for a second. I have no problem with any other sites/forums. -
Quote:Same here.My take is that we will get access to Dual Pistols beginning in March and Demon Summoning beginning in April, not that we will be limited to those two months for using them.
Since I'm not interested in Demon Summoning, I like the idea of Dual Pistols being first.
SO, will we have to PAY for the pre-order right away, or it will just be logged on our account to be paid for in July? I just wonder cause my entertainment fund was limited before a $450 repair bill on my car. -
-
Whta about those of us that want the pre-order early stuff AND the item pack? THis is unfair to us!
-
March 2nd.
-
Since you now can buy new slots, I doubt they will add more with the expansion.

Quote:Why do they block your IP? Have you contacted them about this?Just be glad you CAN preorder. The NCsoft distributor down here confirmed to me today that they have no plans to sell Going Rogue, just like they don't sell Architect Edition, Mac Edition, or any of the booster packs. The NCsoft store website blocks my IP, so if I want to preorder, I need to give my account details to someone in the US for them to do it for me.

What's this about "endgame"?
-
Has it been said yet if we will be able to pre-order the Collector's Edition? I'd assume we would, but due to the wording of the annoucement it makes me wonder.
-
Ok, I'm having a.... discussion... with a friend.
Is it Pistols in March and Demons in April, or both in March and we have only during March and April to get the pre-order special? -
Quote:Also they've said there will be extra special perks for hero ATs that stay heroes and villain ATs that stay villiains. There are lots of reasons you'd want to become one or the other. For starters, there is no real "middle" beyond level 20 in Praetoria--you either lean towards being heroic or being villainous, so you're forced to pick either Hero or Villain from that point on. From there, you can become a Vigilante Hero or a Rogue Villain, which allows you to visit the opposing city.
The reasons why you'd want to become a Vigilante or Rogue are:- Easier to find teams, since you're not locked into either city
- Obtain badges from the opposing faction's side
- Roleplay reasons
The reasons why you'd want to shift entirely from Hero to Villain or vice versa are:- To access the enemy's markets and/or trade with the opposing faction
- Roleplay reasons
- An undisclosed character improvement system to be released with Going Rogue that can power up a level 50 character (currently there's no concrete info on this, other than the fact that it's not just limited to more new Invention recipes)
I'm sure that lots of people have more reasons to add, but those are the big ones for each. And really, it all depends on what you as a player want to do with your characters. -
Quote:I officially start a petition for PURPLE loading screens!!!Also, in reference to the color debate, you'll note that Tyrant's updated look (Circa Going Rogue Trailer) incorporates what appears to a blueish-gray, silver, gold, and a little of deep red or possibly brown.
Going on reasoning, I'm inclined to agree with GG, however I believe that Going Rogue is already geared towards the usage of Gray. Therefore, in the event we do get new loading screens, I surmise that gray will represent the Praetorians, regardless of their morality.
We'll just have to wait and see. -
Quote:A crazy guy from San Francisco named Norton declared himself Emperor of North America and Protector of Canada for awhile. The people of San Franciso so loved him, the stores even accepted his "wooden nickels" from the homeless he gave them to. :PI think he is a genuine monarch - all royal families had to start somewhere
"Emperor"/"King" is just a fancy title for a dictator - Recluse could call himself King of the Rogue Isles if he liked - it still wouldn't change the way he ruled.
Also, Nemesis even made himself Emperor of the Americas once - and in the dimension whre we meet Nemesis Rex, he actually became king of the whole world -
Still wish NCSoft would get the game "compatible" with Windows so that I don't have to keep telling the UAC that yes I trust this unknown program.

Quote:Exactly the reason the markets are separate.I dont' know why you think the Hero markets are cheaper.
First, there are more people playing heroside, therefore much more influence than infamy.
Second, supply might be higher on recipies, but it is lower on salvage, heroside. Cost to make things is higher, overall, on heroside than it is villainside, for both salvage and recipies.
Merging the markets will cause a large scale disruption, and it is entirely possible that villains will end up being "locked out" of the market simply because the supply of infamy is lower than the supply of influence. -
Well, CoX doesn't officially run on Vista or 7 yet. It does, usually, but until they actually UPDATE it to work officially we'll have all kinds of anomalies like this.
