    Wow...just wow! Fan-freakin-tastic!!!!

BTW as a deadboys Mastermind I LOVED how you described the zombies.

    The Malebranche.

There's a Stephen King quality to your pacing and description. You're giving us the $10 dollar tour of hell, it a slow build up to something horrible and so terrifying that much like anything we don't want to view, it has to be done in small glimpses, though the fingers covering our eyes.

Well DONE!! Can't wait for the next one. You're doing a fantastic job here!
  3. Its not LATE January its still early Jan...keep waiting.

    The Malebranche.

I understand completely having someone enjoy your work and getting excited....reader reaction can be like a drug when its good and like a drug when its bad LOL

What I meant by the seralized question at the end, while they were amusing, they kinda took me out of the story mood, I was in...I was thinking WTH I wonder why she wanted to die and why exactly are the Malebranche focusing on this one detective.

Kinda like throwing a rubber chicken in the middle of a murder in progress...You think.."Wait, huh?"

Anyway, keep up the good work, everyone who's reading it (and I"m pretty sure its not just Blargh and myself) will be here for the next installment.

Your pacing is fine and I actually didn't notice that whole knife dealie.

Great job, I'm hooked and again please take your time the reader will wait for you and remember the story.

Just a suggestion, I'd skip putting the seralized teaser questions at the end of your posts, because you don't really need it and it makes it sort of soap operaish instead of a gripping thriller. (which I assume is what you are creating)
Do as you've done with your previous chapters and let come to a soft or hard pause.

I also liked how you explained what the Malebranche are and what their purpose was. I'm extremely intrigued by characters so far.

    Stamina!

Do we have any numbers for I6 in our post ED environment?

    The Malebranche.

I'll agree with Blarg....its going well and I hope you post more but don't let us rush you before you're ready....take your time craft it how you like and then share it with us.

Argggh! I want to read the rest of it and now I have to wait!!!

The storyline is interesting, and makes you want to know more or at least how everything turns out.
    Gimme more! Monkey demands it!

    Write well scribe!
  9. A while back on the Base Construction section, I created PDFs of the items craftable on the 3 different tables for Arcane and Tech. I thought I should post the file links here as well.

The files have been moved! Please use the links listed below.

    Tech_Salvage_Recipes.pdf [183k]

    Arcane_Salvage_Recipes.pdf [134K]

    Thank you!

  10. Gill's done it again!

I love the pose! It looks very nobel, the colors (this is only because I'm from LA) remind me of the LA Lakers, but that's not to say they're not a good mix. Gold and purple (a royal color) is a good mixture.

MissyK it's WAY beyond time you get yours colored You were the first one he posted!
  11. Oh man I got all excited thinking Gill had posted new stuff cause someone posted in this thread....*clutches chest* Monkey's heart can't take that kinda excitment

Anyway anyone giving kudos on his previous works is good too....now back to refreshing MMOART.com every few minutes just to make sure I didn't miss something new.
  12. Good story. Great character descriptions and setting. Ideal place for a Hero Villian tryst...you did well with this one. I enjoyed the snapshot of a moment, it did leave one wondering more about both those characters.

I liked how you worked in the background of both, without being extremely elaborate.

    Kudos, scribe! Well done.
  13. LK = Lackey
MAL = Malfactor (I think there are some other abberv for this)
    WB = Warburg
  14. Altoholic_Monkey

    I hate her.

Now that's how you make a villian!! WTG great read....and major creepy!

It was a good read had the whole crazy stalker rapist feel down pat. I like his POV nice showing how he went from stalking to r a p e to just plain ole crazy. Not that he was far from it before.

Overall very nice job, you hit the nail on the head.

Take out the [IMG] tags and just use the direct http:// linkage Basically use the link on image shack that says DIRECT Link. The code using the [IMG] tag is for forums who can actually display images within the body of posts (we cannot) that's what it's being spit back.

He's still around his last post was 11/26/05. So he's still here and all. Maybe he just has writer's block, as anyone sent him a PM asking him to come back and revive Bo? Maybe he didn't know they just moved his thread.

Also I just posted a new piece Adrian Gainnes ! I love doing moody pieces like this. If you get a chance please let me know what you think.

EDIT: Never type reponses at work fast without really reading it..oy! the typos Sorry I couldn't take looking at it without correcting a few things.

I am so PLEASED to see this type of work and knowing that you can do well (I really didn't have a doubt) I have such a great IDEA for Acid Queen (see avatar) and her deadboys (She's a Mastermind) Now to save up that lovely change to get it done.

Now then as for Adrian Gainnes, I can almost feel the hardboiled attitude that gumshoe has caked on his essence. That is captured the Ink is good and really gives me a sorta of Pulp Fiction (not the movie the actual stories) feel. I also love the attention to detail down to the 2 bottles of booze and the labels...I can see one is Absolute Vodka and the other is Jack Daniels I don't have to read the labels to be able to identify the products. And don't think I didn't miss those 2 stone rune carvings just casually tossed on his desk, giving the viewer insight into exactly what type of things Adrian Gainnes really investigates. Add to the fact that outside his window there's a pawn shop, which gives the impression that he's in a lower income side of town. Also the mashed cigarettes on his desk close to where he has the ashtray say that he's a guy who's absorbed so much with finding (whoever is in those two photos) that he didn't even bother to look down to find out where the ashtray was he just mashed them on his desk.

This pieces tells so much of the story using small details that it forces you to look longer than you would normally. There's so much to take in. You did a great job with this one and I hope the client loves the product.

I'd love to see more moody pieces from you and hopefully one of those will be mine. It's great to see someone’s dream come true and know that MMOART is a great success, as I'm sure it will be for years to come.

I still check the site for new stuff and always smile like a kid at Christmas when I see something new. Great art as always, its nice to see show your different range of artistic flair.

So nice I said it twice! Woohoo

  24. ahem "bumping" posting with the single word "bump" is against the rules....so of course you can do the bump but just don't post with "bump" or anything stating that you are doing said "bumping" what you need to do is to make sure that you are by just posting bumping up the thread but not bringing light to the fact that you are doing said bumping for bumping purposes.

Make your posts more meaty than just "bump" or the Mods might zap your post.

Now there see how I did what is against the rules but without actually doing that single word post....I'm crafty like that.!

If you want your favorite thread to stay on top then post something in it besides "bump" which as stated above is against the rules.

Also I would LOVE to see more of these and if I wasn't in writer's block I might pen a few. But alas the block is still in my head and doesn't look to move anytime soon.
