  1. Since most of us missed out last week, I'll be hoping for an invasion at some point tonight.

    Aside from that, we found the ToT xp really good last week so I'd be happy to do some of that again, and then move back to other missions if we get bored.

  3. I was still shopping when the hordes came.... to five Hero zones simultaneously.

    It was fun, but super laggy.
  4. Cool. Assuming there's no delay, we'll be spending a good portion of the evening either trick or treating or forming a circle against the undead hordes...

    Speaking of which, where are good, dramatic places to fight zombies? I was thinking the big bridges in IP, or (naturally) Dark Astoria, if the invasion spawns there...
  5. It's a sad day to see Saxtus and Radio both take a break from CoX, but I can empathise with your reasons. I do hope you guys come back sooner or later. Always a spot on my silly teams for you.

    Pretty sure the SS-effect is what they're going for in aesthetics for this power.

    However the game engine doesn't have anything that would force a player to run forward 20yrds or so. Instead, you pick you end point and 'speed' to it 'instantly', KBing all foes in the cone in that direction.

    I really like the idea behind this set, it sends my Theme Team Senses tingling.

    This week we unlocked Tina ourselves, punched the Clockwork King's clock and started on the Anti-Matter arc. More of the awesome same next week.

    Unless something changed after I left last night we're still going.

    We meet every Monday night from 7pm, our team is mostly lvl 40-42-ish right now but we have a few folks who are lower than that and so lvl 30-somethings are welcome too.

    The meeting place for each week is posted in this thread so next Monday, just show up and join in...

  14. Shockwave is almost exactly like Gale. If you're the kind of player who can and enjoys using Gale, then you should enjoy SW too.

    I take both powers on my Sonics. Sometimes a KB is a lifesaver.

  16. I had no idea you felt like that, sorry.

    The race aspect was never intended to be anything other than a fun change of pace. I did not think people would take the results to heart as it wasn't meant to be a serious exercise.

    Eh, sod it - let's not bother with Eden, race or no. More folks than I would want can't participate at this point anyway and making people feel left out is the exact opposite of how I saw the excercise.

    Normal mission night tonight, we'll meet wherever the person who updates the MoTD thinks we should meet.
  17. I would suggest paying attention when as the Titan falls then. A rough estimate will do (or a stopwatch) - chances are we won't need times measured to the nearest second.

    Teams must defeat every Giant Monster (including the rockies) in the trial. Also you must clear at least one of the three bridges. And clear the final room.

    That should keep folks busy.

    EDIT: And the 'race' will only start from the point the timer starts - that is, when it's time to enter the cave. This doesn't mean everyone has to wait for all teams to be done with the hunt before continuing, simply that your race time will be taken from the value of your timer when you finish the TF!

    EDIT: No Ambrosia form your SG's huge stockpile to be taken in!

    The hospital prompt works fine for Mayhems/Safeguards... it just send you to jail/an ambulance trolley instead.

  22. Wow, fast work!! Welcome back!

    My team ended around 36-40 last night, so we're still a few members shy from the Eden Trial.

    So I propose next week as normal and then the week after, Eden Trial time? This'll result in no XP for a fair few of us because of the level difference, that I know. But still, it is an AWESOME trial and we can't miss out.

    In two weeks I guarantee three (at the very least) of my regular team will still be in the level range for Eden and so there will be no problems setting up multiple trials for a race.
  23. Anyone else impressed/scared at how fast the 35-40 range just vanishes now, since the devs adjusted the xp curve? Not to mention that this team as a whole is well ahead of schedule, which is great to see.

    I was just about to suggest we have an Eden Trial race two weeks from now.

    Next week's just too soon for most of us, and in two weeks there'll definitely be still enough folks in the 38-41 lvl range to ensure we can start 2-3 simultaneous runs at it. I think after next Monday my own regular associates should be 38-39.

    How about that? Of course if you don't mind Eden two weeks in a row, that's fine by me too.

  24. Yeah, the Abandoned Sewer Trial is super tough.

    I would be tempted for that, except I've not reached the minimum level for it yet (38+). Don't think any of my team have either. Maybe Numina (35+) would be a friendlier prospect this weekend?

    Does remind me though, we should have a race through the Eden Trial at some point! Love Eden.

    EDIT: Scratch that. I probably can't make it on Sunday anyhow, with WAR's open beta supposedly starting that day.
