Taking in account Plight´s Advice, and since my travel was canceled, I'm re scheduling the TF to Sunday 3PM, giving us plenty of time to finish this, and allowing me to wake up at a civilized time (10AM).
We have two options for the TFs. Explorers and Exploiters or The Legend of Ruladak. My preference is for Explorers and Exploiters, but I need and want both? So, what say you?

This are the ones already confirmed. Dark_Spider, this is suposed to be a SG event. I hope we fill with us. If there is a space left, it will be filled by you, ok? So be ready by the time of the TF and I will send a tell saying if we got the space or not.

Ok Guys, this is it, I finally hit 40 Since I lost the last SS TF, I was thinking, let's do one this Sunday Night! I will spend the saturday out and will come back Sunday morning, just after lunch time (here in Brazil) I can go. So what do you say? Do we have quorum for a SS Sunday around 6,7pm BST?

I know. And I agree. That's why I thought, inityally in do it in 2d only.
A 2d map of the base where you can put the items, here represented only by their shape and dimension. With this, you can calculate control, power, cost and such. Do you something something like this would be too hard to do? -

If you were thinking of doing it in 3d, with a proper engine to be able to construct a base as if in game, aside from getting the source code from cryptic, which i don't think's gonna happen, i could do the 3d, to make mock ups of all the items, and rooms. It could be done with screenshots aplenty to reference from.
The only problems are that 1) there'd be bloody loads of items to do, and it'd take all summer. 2) i'm only 17 and although i could do it, i've just finished my AS exams and my parents want me to get a job for the summmer, which would in turn: 3) increase the time period of problem (1) so that it'd end up being finished in about 2 years time. by which 4000 more items will probably exist and everyone will have probably forgotten about the wonderful idea anyway.
Other than that, if you can think of a shortcut, or some other way, let me know and i'll gladly be a part of any graphics/web/3d design you need doing.

And I'm not sure about you, but trying to get to Zorahd Strand with a bunch of silly Hunter Nightelves attacking me from shadowsmeld and almost 1-shotting my lock, was far, really far from what I call fun. Ok Guys, I was talking with my SG leader (Plight), and taking away my noobness in base creations. What struck me as a terrible thing, is that you cannot test layouts, and plan your base in advance, at least not visually, you have to make it "on fly". Having that on mind, I'm thinking on starting a sourceforge project, although I lack most of the skills to do it, of a "Base Builder".
It would be a tool mostly like the "Character Generator", but for bases. A Cad with costs, bonus, etc. Of course it is a [censored] ton of work, and, for now, it is just a crazy idea. But, if we have enough interested people here and on the US, we could try to make it. The life of every Base Architect would be made damn easier.
So, anyone interested?
P.S.: Can anyone post this on the US Boards? -
