  1. Count me in. I can bring a variety of ATs depending on what is needed.
  2. I should be able to make this. Thanks for hosting one.
  3. This Saturday August 18th at 8pm Eastern I will host a Master of Ms. Liberty's Task Force run (formerly MoSTF). We will form up in Independence Port by the contact starting at 7:30pm.

To earn this badge, we will need to complete the TF with no temps and no deaths. I will try to be as flexible as possible in terms of ATs, but ultimately will want the team to be balanced and have a reasonable chance at this badge. E.g. I'm not looking for X Tankers and Y Emps, but if I get a team of 8 Stalkers I'll be asking people to switch. Also, the more people with Incarnate powers like Destiny buffs, the more flexible we can afford to be in terms of team composition. Therefore, please try to bring a character with those abilities.

Please post in this thread if you plan on attending and indicate if you need the badge or wish to help. If you need the badge, please indicate your AT. I will be giving priority to those who a) sign up first and b) need the badge up until a point where I feel the team is not balanced properly.

    See you then!

    Team List:
    1) @Amygdala - Ill/Cold Controller (subject to change)
    2) @Dark Epitaph - Stone/Stone Brute
    3) @White Guardsman - Invuln/EM Tanker
    4) @Placta - TBA
    5) @Ulysses Dare - AR/Dev Blaster
    6) @Neutrio - Emp/Rad Defender
    7) @-FireMedic - Emp/Dark Defender
    8) @Bramphousian - Fire/Cold Corruptor
(Those needing the badge shown in bold.)
  4. Congratulations to @Cobalt Azurean for hitting level 50 on his Water Blast/Poison Corruptor, Sanguinous!
  5. Congratulations to @Bramphousian for hitting 50 on his Water/Kinetics Corruptor, Hydration!
  6. Since April of this year I've been hosting iTrial badge runs for trials requested in this thread on Saturday nights at 8pm Eastern. It appears that most people have their iTrial badges with a few outstanding. However, there seem to be a few folks without badges from TFs/SFs. Therefore, I'd like to open this up to other MoTF/SF badges in addition to trial badges. Please post in this thread if you are missing any of the badges listed below and I will make an effort to put them into the rotation. Please note that I won't be running anything for this Saturday due to DXP weekend, but will likely restart on the following Saturday.

    Blueside: Task Forces

Master of Ms. Liberty's Task Force (formerly MoSTF)
Master of the 5th Column Task Force (MoKahn)

    Redside: Strike Forces

Master of Lord Recluse's Strike Force (MoLRSF)
Master of the 5th Column Strike Force (MoCuda)

    Co-op: Task Forces

Master of the Imperious Task Force (MoITF)
Master of Lady Grey's Task Force (MoLGTF)
Master of Apex's Task Force (MoApex)
Master of Tin Mage's Task Force (MoTMTF)

    Incarnate Trials

    Master of Lambda (MoLambda)
    Master of BAF (MoBAF)
    Master of Keyes (MoKeyes)
    Master of Underground (MoUGT)
    Master of TPN (MoTPN)
Master of Minds of Mayhem (MoMoM)
    Master of Dilemma Diabolique (MoDD)
    Master of Magisterium (MoMagi)
The Really Hard Way (not technically part of MoMagi)
Note: The Magisterium trial will be excluded from the rotation as long as @Placta is running weekly MoMagis/RHW.
  7. Just wanted to say congrats to Pinnacle for achieving The Really Hard Way badge! I was very happy to be a part of this run. The league worked extremely well together and made this badge look easy. Special thanks to CatAtomic for leading us to victory!

Here are the screenies I was able to take.

  8. Personally, I rely less on league chat (since a lot of people neglect to call it out) and instead watch the actual players on my league. The one disintegrating will have a bright green aura and text above their head. From there, click on that person. No fancy binds required.

I'd personally avoid using words like "incorrect" when it comes to describing league composition for this badge. Some leagues may be more ideal than others, but on Champion we were able to get the badge with only 1 Corruptor, 1 Kin and quite a few melee. See this post for a full league breakdown.

While I do agree that certain ATs/powersets have an inherent advantage, in my opinion there's a lot more to this badge than bringing the "right" toons.

    MoBarracuda

Success! I'd like to thank our awesome team and Ukase for hosting.
  11. Welcome back, Placta. I should be there this Sunday.
  12. This is now forming in Pocket D. PST to @Neutrio if interested.

    1. Taunter moves Tyrant out of the bowl - helps light team?
    2. When "the air crackles", *everyone* should run out of melee range of Tyrant & when clear get back on Tyrant - ranged keep firing throughout
    3. Get Tyrant to 40% HP as fast as possible so that Olympian Guards (OGs) stop spawning
    4. Take out 4 lights each spawn for a total of 3 spawns
    5. Use Lore pets at "the wall" -- seems to be either the 40% or 30% HP mark
    6. Pop Hybrid at the start of Tyrant phase and/or at "the wall"
I think you may be confusing The Hard Way with The Really Hard Way, in terms of the points on Lore pets. For The Really Hard Way, it makes more sense to use Lore at "the wall" but for The Hard Way you'll be looking to take him down as quickly as possible while using 12 or fewer lights, in which case I'd use them at the start of the fight.

I wasn't around last week but according to Placta's post from July 22nd, I'm assuming Placta was going to use the 4 lights for 3 cycles strategy again:

    MoBarracuda

I'll be bringing my Kin/Energy Defender.
  16. Not sure if I can make it yet. Put me down as a "maybe".
  17. Well we almost had it on the first run, but a computer crash combined with 2 unlucky beams in a row and that was that. Great effort all around. Definitely should have had the badge. Thanks again for coming.
  18. Forming up in Pocket D now!
  19. Manticore has always been one of my favorite of the Task Force Commander TFs. It has a good mix of defeat alls, hunts and stealthable missions. The level range is good too, so if you're exemplaring to do it you don't feel like you've lost too many powers. Overall, a solid TF.
  20. I don't have words to describe how excited I am about this change.

  22. This Saturday July 21st at 8pm Eastern in Pocket D I will host a few consecutive Keyes runs aimed at earning the badges for MoKeyes, specifically Avoids the Green Stuff and Loves a Challenge.

These badges can be extremely difficult to get. For this reason I will ask that you are familiar with the basics of the Keyes trial. E.g., it's not your first time running Keyes, you know what I mean by "Obliteration Beam", etc. I will also be limiting the league size to 16 members. This tends to make DPS easier to control (for time freezes) and minimizes visual interference when trying to spot the beam.

The following is a summary of the strategy that will be used:

I will start forming at 7:30pm in Pocket D. If you would like me to reserve a spot, please post in this thread. I'll hold reserved spots until 8pm.

    See you then!
  23. Put me down as a maybe. Have to take care of some things today and not sure if I'll be there on time.
  24. Thanks to everyone who came out tonight. We goth both badges we were after and came very close to Avoids the Green Stuff and Loves a Challenge. Excellent work all around!
