Echo Taker. Her connection was up and down more than a <complete euphemism to your own satisfaction here> last night

    [/ QUOTE ]

*Echo Taker renounces any association with the above euphemism.

As soon as any mission started to get interesting the server and my router joined forces to boot me out. Two missions in a row, I got booted immediately before the AV fight and logged back in time to find them already defeated!

Amanda Pierson and Hawaiin Punch become Heroes of the City

Haha, what a fantastic photo (I really love how you managed to somehow capture my toon's look of surprise at being teleported across Atlas Park into the front row of a photo line-up!).

It was an excellent evening. Teaming again with all you friendly faces is always fun, but teaming with all of you at once was something pretty special!

Congrats again to Punchy and Amanda!

    Telekinesis

I've just picked up TK for my Kin Defender and found this guide, although a little out of date, to be incredibley useful as a learning tool.

As has been said before, TK is an endurance killer - but if you can't cope with that as a Kineticist, who can?

It demands a lot of skill but adds so much to your solo-ability and is great fun! Comboing with Dominate from the same power pool gives you the stackable holds to shut down any boss and clumping lots of enemies together makes for better Fulcrum Shifts!

I've loved TK since I picked it up, it's added so much to my repertoire and is the sort of power that I'll still be learning to use for a long, long time to come.
  6. Cool! When my internet connection went kaput last night I was afraid I'd missed Punch's Big 5-0. Echo would definitely like a spot on the team tonight, if possible.
  7. Sounds interesting! Echo Taker will take part (she'll be lvl 50 by then too).
  8. Awww, I'd love to do the Sewer Trial, but I'll not be online 'til late on Wednesday, if at all.
  9. Oops, didn't see this trhead the first time round!

Thanks to everyone in the team for making that one of the best trials I've ever done. I was amazed at how good you guys were - especially Hawaiin Punch, one of the best tanks I've had the fortune of meeting in this game - and equally amazed at your patience and tolerance of my leadership... especially since it was my first time on the trial (and I'd only read about it earlier that day too!). With a bit of research, good teamwork and excellent companions this thing was a breeze.

Shame about our blaster friend, though with two kineticists and two scrappers on the team we didn't miss him.

My favourite moment personally was when Punch, who had gotten through the entire trial with barely a scratch on his Granite Armour, died for the first time when he was one-shotted by the Titan. That was terrifying!!
  10. Actually at the moment I'm using Power Build Up pretty much as if it was Aim since it comes with tis own accuracy and damage boost, though my favourite ploy right now is to hit PBU right before Vengeance.

I'm probably going to keep hold of it until after Issue 7 now to see if that release does in fact change anything. I can always respec into the Psychic Mastery pool (my 2nd choice) with the I7 freespec if not.

    Thanks for your help guys.
  11. Thanks both, that's everything I need to know.
  12. I took Power Build Up as my lvl 41 choice for my Kinetic Defender today. I've been advised previuosly that it doesn't buff the secondary effects of Transfusion and after testing this does seem to be the case.

Is this a bug, an oversight, or is there a design reason for this? If it's not working as intended, is there any word as to when it might be corrected?

Also (and maybe this one's just me) but Power Build Up seems to have a really short duration - the Hero Builder states it should be 30 seconds, but it seems more like 10. Which is it?

    Any advice would be appreciated.
