  1. I am so going for the xbox 360 but not til AFTER Xmas. I am not one of the insane and I'd rather not get trampled like that dude in NY. But I am having second thoughts about it because my oldest is only 8. He has a PS2 (my old one) and he just wants the Force Unleased game. So should I really get the 360? (grafix are not an issue for him at this time)
  2. I'm wondering if I can get away with putting a bow on their new brother's head and pass HIM off as a prezzie.... prolly not. It's gonna stink because I have Gaelen's Birthday (4) on the 8th and THEN Xmas of which I haven't bought a single solitary thing. Not even going to try and get that Xbox 360 I really want to get for my oldest. This year if hard only because the new baby needs SOOO much before he get's here. Le Sigh.
  3. Well good luck to her as well!

I'm sorry what? To see her grandchild? OMG that's insane!!! Especially when he was recently hospitalized. My mother virtually FLEW up here when Dev (2 now) was born and had to be rushed to the NICU. She and both my sisters left work, grabbed a rental and drove from Tampa where I'm from originally to Shreveport, LA where he was being treated. Heck they were there BEFORE I was discharged from the hospital!!

And I totally agree.. Babies do ROCK!! He looks just like his 2 older brothers. Same mouth and nose. Gotta LOVE technology!!!
  4. Joo are cruel!! Poor child will have to seek therapy now.

OK So December 10th is when I go in for my C section and tubal... just a few days away.. I'm kinda freaking! LOL The interesting thing is I had to enlist the aid of my estranged mother to watch the other kids while I'm there. Aparently I'l lbe there for about 72 hrs.... GP wanna talk about a vacation? I'm stoked! No dishes, vacuuming, hearing kids run up and down the hall. Just me and Aiden, hanging out. Well not really. The Dr. thinks he could have a hard time in the beginning and might need assistance breathing. In 2 weeks he went from 5 lbs 8 oz to 7 lbs 6oz. So by the 10th he'll be around 9 lbs or so. You all wanna see him? Aiden 3D
  5. And as soon as they figure out it's a holo it'll be a game. 40 points per Granny and 15 per hockey kid. Triple points if you snag 2 kids at the same time.

I want a way to get those idiots who sit in the parking lot with their base blasting and rattling my windows to stop their crap at 10:30 in the evening.. any ideas on that front GP?
  6. I like it! I really like the way it all is as easy to navigate! Thanks for the fresh and updated look, guys!
  7. OMG I hope that's photoshop!!! @.@
  8. OOO my turn. Never new this was here actually >.<

I'm a lvl 34 UberMom in BFE TX atm. I live here with my husband and 3 boys. We have one on the way as well. I'm originally from Tampa and my husband is from Queens. We moved here when my younger brother said how nice and quiet this place was... and is it EVER. OMG there is NOTHING here! So we are saving our money to move BACK to Florida as soon as possible.

My husband started this game the week it launched. At the time I was playing SWG and wanted to have nothing to do with CoH. But after constant pressure, between him and the 10 other people we worked with, I caved and made my first character (Ill/Kin on Infinity)

We have a website if you are so inclined to take a gander

  9. That is truly awesome!

When Jack (7 yr old) was about 3ish he would hum the Darth Vader March when he was in the bathroom going poo.

Dev and Gaelen (2 and 3) both love music. The can be heard at least 3 times a day singing either Iron Man, Du Hast, or The Numa Numa song. But I vow to have my children listen to pink floyd more and not keep it all to myself! That's how my dad got me to enjoy it.
  10. Apples and Carrots in a hot car? um EW? Even I wouldnt eat them and I crave all kinds of crap.

OK My 3 yr old did something decidedly funny last night. Devlin (2yr old) came in our room and said, "Daddy, Chunky is stuck" So my husband goes in and looks. All I hear is "How did your head get stuck in there?" and I'm like "WAIT DON'T MOVE HIM I WANNA SEE!!" So I waddle down the hall and he has lifted the window up enough to get his head through but it slides down a hair and traps his head in it. LOL I was laughing soo hard and trying to be sympathetic at the same time. He started yelling at me "Mommy it's not FUNNY!!" We got him out, gave him love and put him back in bed. But the whole time I was like, DANG I forgot to grab the camera.
  11. Thanks so much you all. I'm sure I'm just being a worry wort.. I have this cute little Asian Dr whom I trust implicitly so I really should be all that concerned.

As for Fizzgig I HAD to use him.. he reminds me of my 3 yr old when he tosses a tantrum.

Oh and my 2 yr old said his first curse word yesterday thanks in part to my dear husband. I'm shocked really because I curse like a sailor with syphilis so I though I would be the one to teach him the ropes.
  12. OK 1st thing 1st... Grats on the beautiful baby GP. And I PRAY mine's as small.
2nd I love this thread. It is prob my favorite one to read.

That being said, I have a question for all the mothers out there that had a C Section. How dangerous is it? I'm on my 4th child and this is my first C and I'm a little skerd.. ok a LOT skerd.

HERE in Canada, I'm not covered by dental but I can see any Obstetrician I want and I had a private birthing suite to have the baby in and the room I had afterwards was even sweeter.. AC, private bathroom, television.. even the furniture matched the decor.. and it cost me nothing. Thank goodness for Universal Healthcare.

OK I'm moving to Canada to have this baby. I am stuck in BFT TX where we have Prenatal Medicaid. The hospital here has no NICU. The last time I gave birth here the first 2 fetal monitors were broken, my son got stuck and was delivered not breathing, his apgar was very low, he was diagnosed with Erbs Palsy, was intubated and hand-bagged for over 7 hours because the infant ventilator was broken. Then he was carted away (via ambulance)to Shreveport, LA to THEIR NICU and was kept there for 2 weeks. (intubation tube came out within 48 hrs) I couldnt stay there because he was so far away and the Waiting House they had there for parents to be close to their child didn't allow other children. So I only got to see my son for 3-4 hrs per weekend when we were able to drive up there.
(As a note the original reason why the birth was so difficult was because my son weighed 11.5 lbs and was delivered vaginally. They never checked to see how big he was )
This time I'm scheduled to have a C Secton but I'm terrified. It will be in the same hospital and though I'll have a different doctor, I'm still worried about the state the hospital is in. We get private rooms but we stay there the entire time pre and post natal. My fear is that something is going to happen again. They send you home after 48 hrs when you have a c section. Is that right? I mean you have a sewn up gaping hole in your stomach and they send u home that soon? Am I freaking myself out? YES! You bet I am What you described sounds wonderful! Also familiar. When I had my 1st 2 boys I was in a hospital that had similar arrangements. They even fed my husband Guess it's the location where you are at when you have your child. Good Luck GP!!

*note* My son is now 2 and he's smart as a whip ( no brain damage from the lack of O2 when born) but still has Erbs Palsy. He has 75% movement loss in his left arm from his shoulder to his hand. He will be having surgery to give him more hand movement but that is all that can be done.
  14. Victory Alliance

We started 4 years ago originally on the Victory Server. In 2007 we transferred to Champion when Vic population dwindled and have been here ever since. We have made aprox 14 mil prestige since the move and have a nice base that all are glad to be a part of. Our members are few but fun and we have all age groups (though for ventrilo purposes I try to recruit players over 24 years old) My husband and I have played with some of our members for years and others are new. We do not actively seek new players to join our ranks but when we team with an extraordinary person we ask if they'd like to join us on vent. We have a core group of active members that play almost every day. Our Motto is Still Playing After All These Years. I like Champion Server for our SG because it fits us and there are some truly great people here. No website cause the last time i ran a website I spent 8 hrs on it every day to update it and never got to play the game.
