I still have to obtain any accolade that includes the 100 Master Illusionist decoys

Make that 500, i'm afraid -

Number 204. Kill huge amounts of Toxic Tarantulas. Fly around for a few hours in Grandville and try not to outlevel contact before you get it. I am sure this is a nice contact. Never managed to do him though.
Viridian. Well for this one you need to kill left and right. Crey, rikti, freak tanks, lost bosses and lets not forget 200 Crey protectors. Hope you like farming missions for this one.

The only one i've yet to do is the Slot Machine
Number 204, considering the huge amount of work it takes to get the Toxi Ts, especially before lvl 45, is such an anticlimax. Somewhat well written, but just short and boring.
Viridian's "The Conference of Evil" OTOH is my personal favourite arc in the game. -

With CJ active it's soft capped, reason i went with the patron set was for the 6 slot on blood mandate. slot 5 and 6 both other 3.75% one for ranged and one for AoE, not to mention a pet with the ability to slow attacks and tohit debuff further.
Simply put Tough is for resistance, about 15% max which isn't worth getting on a toon thats only got defense. Weave relies on Tough, and maneuvers would drain to much endurance to be of any help.
As for slotting the autopowers, You will never get more then 8.8% max defense from them and thats with 3 slots. Which is why I've put in 2 slots to get the bonus from luck of the gambler.
[/ QUOTE ]
Well, as I said. YMMV. Those = all very valid points. Was merely providing food for thought . I agree re: tough, though i'd take it on the road to weave on some /SR's (Mine is DB/SR, i envy your synergy, tbh)
Aside from what I said in my last post, looks pretty solid. Best of luck to you -

No, NO, NO!, NO!!
I'd log off.
The Rikti invasions, after the badges, and except for getting merits in a really lazy fashion, are boring. Nobody bothers with them, they make your mobs vanish for hunts/TFs/Badges. (Numina, Sharkhead Sf, any treespecs). Thus potentially displacing pre-planned things for people, by forcing an all day long very very boring waste of time. -

I wish I could remember the best team combination that I've ever worked with. All I can remember is that we managed to complete the MoSTF in one go, first off! It was a mixture that I didn't think was going to work - yet lo and behold, they all went down, and we didn't!
[/ QUOTE ]
IIRC! it was the same as mine. 3 Kat scrappers (one of them me), your ice blaster, grav/ff, sonic/elec (Mael?), rad/something, inv/SS
No Empath, No Stoner. Was one the happiest moment of my 'you don't nead a healz0r to winzor' preaching. I could be wrong, but I remember there being an ice blaster amongst all that -
If you're wanting to soft cap that thing, i'd seriously recommend dropping the patron lark, and dedicating some proper slotting to your auto powers. 1 def 1 def/end simply doesn't do them justice.
Also: Tough/Weave or Maneuvers instead of the patron stuff. I personally don't think they're worth their salt on a brute, but YMMV -

I kind of guessed, Xem, but they are massively different things. For starters, aside from the work needed to create the expanded character selection screen, purchaseable character slots is basically a database disk space problem, there's no programming involved.
With this, each set would need its own reanimation, and it would become an ongoing increase in the work needed to make weapon sets. If they had done it when we first asked for it, then maybe. Now, that's a lot of work for a cosmetic change...
[/ QUOTE ]
You're entirely correct, and I apologise. On topic, I agree with you, though taking the OP's rewording, an emote wouldn't be an awful idea (/em holdgun, /em holdkatana, /em holdbroadsword). Though with weapon customization I'd imagine it would have to be either a selection of emotes per weapon (the default weapon), or one emote which draws whatever weapon the costume slot had into a variety of poses.
Not a terrible idea at all, but I'm unaware of the work that'd go into it. If i'm to take Ravenswing's word for it, then I'm in agreement. A lot of work for a more or less useless function -

Like purchasable character slots?
[/ QUOTE ]
No... not really.
[/ QUOTE ]
Well...I meant that more in the sense that people wanted that for ages, and did eventually get it. I'm sure at the time some used that line of thought. Was just teasing, nothing meant by it -

(To be really nasty...) If you run out of opponents while Berzerk and do not attack anything for 10 seconds, you become Confused and start attacking any friends within range.

So open to griefing -

I bet your build didn't have team teleport. Which is vital on any brute
[/ QUOTE ]
^^ This guys knows his stuff, i would've got it in earlier on my build if i could
[/ QUOTE ]
You've taken footstomp too early imo. Take it at 49 and don't slot it, it's pretty useless.
And Hurl is *way* underslotted. 6 slotted KB set, for sure -

Well, he already asked me to make a build for him in-game, which I did. So I'm kind of surprised DM1k asked again here

Maybe your build sucked at t3h PeeVePeez? Crushed by a troller or some such -

i think the tweaks that need to happen to invul are small, and as far as i know already under consideration at NorCal.
[/ QUOTE ]
Although I'd disagree with the use of 'need' (but of course someone is bound to, so that's a moot point from me), I agree with Cass here. Nothing major needs to be done. The point about the passives being meager compared to other sets I also agree with. So all in all, things are looking up for ol' invul. Those who like theirs as is, will be happy. Those who think they don't live up to their title will also be happy.
Everybody wins, so why are we fighting? -

Though I think people on the whole are being a bit mean to the OP. On the other hand, my ususal "Go with whatever you like, there's no 'perfect' build & Don't PvP on a Br00t" probably wouldn't go down well either..
...ah well -
[ QUOTE ]
A set called "Invulnerability" should have a lot more of a sense of being invulnerable than it currently does. And it certainly shouldn't be weaker than a set based around stone!
[/ QUOTE ]
Pardon me if this comes off rather rude, but that's the stupidest line of argument i've heard in a long time. And this is an interwub forum about a videogame!
As someone mentioned earlier, quite correctly, it's merely the hyperbole of the genre. Nobody wants to be called 'resistant to stuff-man'. Invuls can be made to emulate their (lol apparently ill given) name, without the reliance on unstoppable.
Also: PRAF's post -
There's certainly a lot you can do with set bonuses.
My duo partner's Invul/SS tank was the *only* tank in 3 of our (successful) MoSTF runs. This, once again, comes down to player ability > generic sweeping statements about the set. Rattles back in prams please guys. I strongly feel invul is fine as is, some may disagree. Regardless, we will all leave the interwubs entirely unchanged people -

All the best in the future!

I'm exactly the same in terms of what happens to the FPS. Sadly, i'm on ATI, so I can't offer any GFX card related stuff.
Whenever it gets really bad, i simply move particle physics down to the minimum (aswell as draw distance). Inside missions, as you say, it's fine (unless i've scrolled too far in on my /DA scrapper...machine hates that)
Try and tweak with the GFX, and maybe look into a tweaktool for your GFX card. CoX is a fickle beast -
This was a blast, thanks for organising BW
