  1. At work right now

But if I was home I would be playing Lord of the Rings Online (Lifetime Member).
  2. I have not decided which Race or Server to be on lol. I have played both a Spiritmaster and a Ranger in the Closed and Open Beta and worked on a Warrior. I will probably go with a Spiritmaster since it fits my playstyle. It would be nice to team up with players from CoH/V since I dont have any friends that will be on this game.

Well i tried different settings and nothing worked. Sorry, Myrmydon. But that is something they could add in the game. The voices are not as bad but still I know it can be annoying lol. I might try a few more settings out today and see if I over looked something.
  4. I am not a parent but, just wanted to say "this" is one of the main reasons to play this game. I like games with a more mature playerbase. They understand when you cant be on all the time due to work and real life issues. Games like WoW use to be like that, but now it is more of a kids playground lol. They dont care if you work, if you are not on by a certain time for a raid/instance/pvp group then you can get kicked out. I have been in those before, and just left. Anyway, sorry for posting on this thread. Still at work and I always check this site out

No problem It is a fun game, mainly if you are into PvP. There will be some PvE raids and instances but the main "end-game" is PvP. Open beta is even better now, since in Closed Beta they were still using the Korean voices. Now everything has been translated and it does sound better lol.

I havent really checked but I think it is under "Options" then the "Sound" tab. I can check when I get off of work and see. But usually that is where it will be.

I do love Aion, and will be playing both CoH/V and Aion. I have no complaints with there comunication with the players. They even had GM's playing the game, I am guessing that is what they are called. Out of all the Alpha and Beta's I have done, i have never seen that before. You always had to put in a ticket and wait 24-48 hours for an answer. But the GM's are right there and can send them a message if you need to ask a question or are having issues with the game.
  7. I am just getting back to this game after some real life stuff came up. So I wont be trying out Champions Online, I was thinking about it but I decided not to. I love this game too much and i like the content better on here as well. I have been in Beta for Aion since CB1 and now doing Open beta it is awesome. I will be playing it live, already pre-ordered the CE of Aion when it was announced lol. But I will still be playing CoH/CoV, I wont be leaving this place anytime soon I am looking forward to I16 and Going Rouge!

Thank you for the info! Actually I dont lag too much on CoX. Most of the time when I do lag it is because of my internet service which is Metrocast. Not the cable service but it is ok.

The forum seems populated and friendly enough, but it always seems a ghost town when I pop in game.
BTW Welcome to Champion server I think you will like it here. Like I said in another post, this server has some great players! And you shouldnt have too much trouble with getting a group together if you wanted to.

Thank you very much I am starting a new character that is a blaster Elec/Elec. I am having alot of fun with it, seems to fit my playstyle more. I like hanging back and blow things up lol

EDIT: I might make a new villain, might be a Mastermind, not sure yet though.

    Server therapy?

Thank you very much I was just curious, since some MMO's have servers for different time zones to make help with setting up raids, pvp etc. since the majority of the players that will be on that server are in that time zone. But like I said I was curious lol :P Champion is a very good server, i have met a lot of great players and made some friends on here. I had to take a break for awhile due to real life issues. But I am getting back into CoH/CoV again and I missed it lol.

Also is a West Coast timed server, so if you're East Coast coming on around 11 am every morning you may have to wait a few hours before more people clock in. Most activities start about 7 pm EST, and sometimes 9 pm EST.

While many players in Champion are friendly, do be aware we have our fair share of DRAMA.
Oh, I didnt know this server was on west coast time. Just curious, which server is East Coast timed?
