Also, Zwillinger had an awesome shirt. We need to get them to release them for sale for the playerbase. They said it would be a Black Pebble issue. I tried to PM but it wouldn't go through. Probably just me. Anyway, here is my 2 cents for getting those shirts out there!

Hi,
I hope you all can help me, as you have in the past. I installed an ATI Radeon HD5670 graphics card. It works great and the game looks better than I have ever seen it. BUT, I decided to use two monitors. I was using my HDTV as a singl monitor. While that works great for the game, for just surfing around it was just to difficult to read. So I hooked up the LCD monitor that came with my computer.
My problem is that I can not get the resolutions set right for the game to be full screen on the tv. It's off center and goes off screen. I'm not sure what to set what at. Do I use the grapic card control panel? Do I use Windows display control panel? I'm pretty much confused here. I'm not even sure what info to put here to help you help me.
So, um, help!

Just installed my new card. I think my brain exploded. I can not believe how fantastic everything looks! My characters look so much more real! I am absolutely flabbergasted!

It's a good low budget card that might help you meet your goals of better gaming without Ultramode.

Hi all, As the title says I am asking those of you who are more tech minded than I am to help me pick out a new video card. I would like to keep it under $100, if possible. I don't really need one to run Ultra Mode, but I would like to be able to participate in more group activities without the extreme lag (Rikti Raids, task forces and the new incarnate stuff.)I have a screenshot of my GPU info. I hope that helps. I have also done the HiJackThis! and COHhelper. I will post those if they are needed, but I don't want to clog up the post if I don't have to. Thanks for all your help!

I also can't help but wonder: If new players HAVE to start in Praetoria, won't the difficulty and the insane ambushes scare off many new players?
I fear that would have happened with me. If I were forced to start there I believe I would have quit the game in frustration.
Also, I don't like that you have to start in Praetoria as a new player then be forced to pick blue or red side. I like that I can start as a hero or villain and not a shade of gray. (Do I have that wrong?) But to start a character then be FORCED into a whole new world. What if I want to save the world I was born in? Ok, I digress... -

I always thought that ambushes should work differently for Stalkers. The ambushes should still charge, but not directly at you. Perhaps to some random point nearby you.
The effect would be that, they know you're there somewhere, but they can't see you. So they have to roam around blindly. There could even be NPC dialog about how they can't find you and how frustrating that is.
If one of them gets aggro, then you can get something like, "He's here! He's here!" -

Hi Techie Folks,
I tried doing a search, but did not find anything specifically about this. Currently, my pc is hooked up to my 35" lcd tv. The game looks great on it. However, other things, like blogs, etc can be hard to read.
I was thinking of hooking up the 17" monitor that came with my computer with a vga y splitter so that I can have both as monitors. The big one for the game and the smaller one for more casual browsing, etc.
Is this the right way to go about it or is there a better alternative?
All help is appreciated. Thank you.

Another thing that I find somewhat intersting is that while this tech is not availale to the average joe on the street, it is available to all the Hellions, Skulls, Outcasts, Trolls, etc., etc, etc. in the city. It was (I think) Positron (the dev, not the character) who explained that we're not really killing villains when we "arrest them with bullets, swords and fireballs", because they are ported to the Zigg's medical facilities when they are overcome. So the idea that the system can't handle several dozen civilian transports per day is crazy, given that it handles seemingly thousands of arrests per day.
