Tower of Arenaz
We don't go out recruiting and spamming, but if you're lookin for a VG you're welcome to ask to join.
RP'ing - Totally optional. Most of us (to the best of my knowledge) respect other RPers and never insult or make fun of them.
Theme/Concept: The group has no real theme to it. The name was based off an old RPG game I was tinkering around with many many years ago.
We're 'supposed' to be arcane/magical but tech stuffs are sporatically found all around here an there for comedy or just random purposes XD.
Activity: There's roughly 10-15 unique members, possibly more, although I have lost track. Most of us have 'alt-itis' so we fill out the roster with Alts most of the time and it's really hard to keep track.
Requirements for Membership: Basic computer knowledge of turning the game on. We're newbie friendly . Requirement 2: No supreme haxxor leetists.
Leadership: Arenaz
In-Game Contact(s): @Arenaz, @Kiria
Out-of-Game Contact(s): Just leave me an offline message.
URL: http://www.guildportal.com/Guild.asp...;TabID=2381580
Coalition(s): Coalitions welcome!
Other Details: We have a fully loaded base, ready to help anyone who wants to join up to team up with us. We have weekly SFs/Trials/Adventure groups on the weekends especially.
We're more a PvE group than a PvP one but it's fun to mess around in PvP sometimes. -

Lady Grey Task Force suggestion:
Put a *warning sign* if you click the base portal. If you enter your base, you auto-drop the TF, which naturally can be a little frustrating when you're about two hours in and now get to set out the rest of the thing because you didn't think about that factor before you did. Clicking the "Drop Task Force" button by accident gets you a "Do you *really* want to drop this Task Force? You will not be able to rejoin" message, and it's a LOT less likely to be done accidentally than clicking the base portal in the RWZ to go craft some enhancements to empty out your salvage and recipes and realize you just kicked yourself out of the TF.

Well to me, as long as the mission has a reason to be multi-zone it's fine.
I'm talking about the missions where it's totally random which zone the mission is in.
It makes sense if you have to travel through the portal in Nerva to go to the shadow shard.
It makes sense to take a sub at mercy to go to the Zig.
But when it's Defeat X person of the warriors in atlas and then again in the hollows. Well... it really doesn't make sense.
The Monster Island doesn't have anything at all when they added that in. And Abyss is pretty much just Hami stuff.
As long as there's interesting things in the Zone it'll keep people going back there. -
Well they could be like in some games where the enemies just attack till they die. I mean yeah it's annoying when a boss with a buff/debuff gets other enemies aggro'ed onto you but hey maybe it just means in game that the enemy is trying to be "sneaky" or whatnot. It happens, it's weird. maybe your in game character had that look on their face and the enemy was like "Holy schnikes! He's comin to kill me!" (proceed to run)

I love this idea. so much. an my suggestion for keeping PVP a problem if any, a simple idea might work: they could lock this out of PVP area useage.
Or just have it with reduced effects. Like how ratios and precentages lower while using a power against a human rather than NPC enemy.
In any way though, a lot of players may try to have something to help balance their own downside of their character rather than go into the background of the character to explain the power. That's up to the creator how they want to use this power. Just as long as it's kept in check with the character's 'type'. A Brute or Scrapper wouldn't be able to hold an enemy with a 'hold' type power as well as a Controller, Dominator would. But they would have a lower damage rate from it.
IMO, at LV50 an with the max points put into it I think should it be equal to, if not a tiny bit better than a regular power.
