Hi Scarlet,
I have the same issue with melee. I have and always loved ranged ATs, but mostly Dominators. I tend to always be on melee wih my dom and that's my favorite place, melee.. The fact that I can hold the aggro by myself and survive is my favorite thing! It's been 7 years of not touching Brutes, Tankers, Scrappers etc.. I do have a stalker for PvP though but it's a spine.
Recently I rolled a Kinetic Melee/Energy Aura Scrapper, and I'm kinda enjoying it! I tend to "Herd" the whole room or map and stay in one place and kill everything, without chasing a thing. With the new buff Energy Aura got, I can taunt things without Taunt. I'm now at lvl 42, a bar away to 43!
Electric Aura has a taunt aura too and some other sets. I think they buffed Fiery Aura so the NPC's don't run away. Not sure about Stone Armor, but I've seen lots of those herd things.
Taunt is very good too, to keep things on melee range. I don't usually take it, except for my MM. But it's very very useful for Brutes To keep Fury up.
But yeah, it takes a little bit of effort to play melee, it's totally up to you. Pick something that can get you survive through all those herding. Again that's probably just my taste, I hope this helps you on your decision. -

dunno about that, yes PSW got nerfed, but the rest of the attacks were compensated.
TF and ET got nerfed, and their only compensation was a proctology exam with gloveless and really cold hands or a slight buff to Barrage. -

the blue zones IMO are awful, they are massive and travel times are much longer than anywhere redside, the zones are too bright for me, i prefer the darkness of redside, the blue tfs are immensely more boring than redside ones (although i would prefer more redside sf's and GMs)
the upcoming changes to mercy story arcs in i21 are fantastic, makes me feel more like a villain than the old content did
Surprisingly, if you will just stop and look around anywhere red side, it has more depth. The details and story behind the Isles. I like that Rogue Isles has fewer zones, less confusing and easy travel. I think I only have 1 hero, and never logged it in. The only blue zone I like is Croatoa, which should be a co-op zone.
Edit: May I add that, how the lighting in red side is what makes people hate it. It has nothing to do with the design. It's not perfect but it's better than blue side... For me anyway. -

As you may know there's a fashion show in Virtue on August 15, 2011 and you are all invited. But the reason why I'm posting here is because I need 5 more female Fashion Models, who are willing to wear 3 outfits that I have put together (downloadable). Anyone who is willing to do that and not edit a thing would be awesome!

My problem with this is that, yeah, looks a bit too much like hair. I kind of figure that's the intent, a soft downy texture to go along with the whole bird motif... but the problem looks like the hair isn't part of a suit, it's actually growing out of her skin. Looking at the pictures again, there doesn't seem to be anything under the hair/down texture, and you can see some bits of skin here and there. This makes it look like the costume is part of her, as opposed to just being a costume.
So, I suggest making a slightly darker, solid colored swimsuit underneath first, and then drawing the texture on top. That would give a better representation that this is supposed to be a suit and not some really bad hair condition, I think.

Ok tweaked some more stuff for a very stylish option. On the lower part, the first pic is regular cut, it's traditional panty, and the second one is called Boy Cut, because it's almost like shorts.

This is my favorite of any of the re-designs posted here so far. Very true to the original while still being new look. Something along these lines that really played with the feathers theme would be great.

Ok Here is my serious top list, costume and story wise.
Ghost Widow - Simple, intimidating, beautiful, ethereal. Ghost Widow became my first favorite character in CoH/CoV. Her hair is captivating! Psychic+++ too!
Kalinda - Her being Psychic+++ is so awesome. Her back story is very good.
Goddess Hequat - I love her costume, and she is one of the female characters that represent people with colors! She has Psy+++ powers!
Mirror Spirit - Her costume and her powers are amazing! Empathy/Psy abilities+++
Vanessa DeVore - She's so powerful, and also a Psychic+++!
Belladonna Vetrano (Praetorian) - Love her costume! Not sure is she has Psy powers...
Countess Crey - I lover her outfit, also a Psy+++!
Silver Mantis - She has a great background story.
Ice Mistral - I just love that she is the Ice Queen version.
Swan - Her costume is very unique and she is a Psy+++!
Sis Airlia - Her costume is just amazing. I want! -
