2. Heather's Turkey Hunt in WB: It was kinda bittersweet actually. It was a big event at Thanksgiving and ExLibris and Niviene came out to be guest turkeys! Sadly, it was one of our last events before i13 came out and made events like this pointless. The Christmas event the year before with Lighthouse and Ex was a good one too. We had fun coming up with PvP/holiday titles! "I Will Sleigh You" for example. It's always super gratifying to host an event and have a ton of people show up (even if it's just for the titles).

I think my "#1" moment was when I killed Helmholtz in RV with an (LOL) eng/dev blaster. Of course I got the beating of my life from him and his friends...but it was worth it since his friends later became my friends!

I had to replace my old junk puter in April and I got top of the line stuff and in total paid (the parts alone were $550) $800. That was including the 25 inch wide screen monitor. It came ready to take home and plug in with Windows XP, with a Windows 7 upgrade

I had mine custom built from a guy on craigslist. (Craigslist = awesome!) Everything was bought on newegg, and shipped. I have a lifetime warranty, and if anything ever happens I can go to him and he will fix it. I don't know much about computers, but I can tell you that I can run 3 CoH accounts without turning my graphics lower and I can run 4 accounts by turning it down a notch. And I have a pretty black and red case that has blue lights coming out of the fans and see thru side

If I could find the paper I got with the list of parts....then I would tell ya!

I bid on Mod 8 and I wanna do a posi.....with level 10's....

Actually, I was just talking to someone about it and had a few ideas brewing for some......"events" of the "PvP" nature and maybe "Coordinating" it with her.... but we need a cool name so we are stuck. :P

But on the real side, I remember when I first learned how to pvp. I got my [censored] handed to me by Helm day in and day out (and Pather Ink and Morgy helped get me quite a few times). I got so mad I wanted to learn how to pvp just so I could kill him once... Then Tarvitz took me under his wing and started working with me. I got frustrated dying over and over and over again.

After a few weeks, I went in RV with an enrg/dev blaster (LOL). I snuck around the back side, targeting helm. I started laying trip mines, i think I put down 24, and started to teleport him. He landed right on top, brought him to a sliver of health and started to run. I chased after him and after I hit him a few times, he died. I took a screenshot because I was so proud

Helm: blah blah come out heroes. I am waiting. I wanna eat our soul. Blah blah. I will come in there ....WTF????!!!?!?!?!

Helm: [censored] Heather. Why didn't you say you were in here!

Helm: Fail. Your not gonna do it Heather. You can never bea....

I will never forget the next words spoken though...

Helm: Ooooooooohhhhhh Heather. *pause* You messed up! *pause* You're so dead now! (As he got his mind dom and him and Morgy killed me about 50 times each to make up for me killing him :P)

First thing is PvP isn't easy, it does take skill and now, even more. (IMHO) PvP isn't for someone who just wants to try it here and there. Just like a Master STF or LRSF, you didn't get it the very first time, it took time to learn how to beat it but once you did, its easy now.

My best advice to people just wanting to try it out, see if they even like it to get serious, is to get a partner, someone good at PvP and run with them. After seeing a "vet" do it, and answer questions, then not only have you made a friend, but you gain another step into what's called "PvP."

I would also say go to "Fight Nights," but I kind of stopped doing them, and I don't think if I tried to start them up again anyone would come.
