  1. We even got to whack Captain Mako as an added bonus
  2. Please shoot me a tell @Aerys when you're planning to do this, I'd love to get the badges with my controller
  3. We managed to do this yesterday and everyone on the team got the Stouthearted badge

    Thanks for organizing this Boy_Wonder
  4. Count me it again, hopefully this time we'll have more than 3 ppl
    @Aerys, I'll bring Jacurutu
  5. I'd love to get this accolade as well, please shoot me a tell @Aerys when you do this
  6. Got it yesterday thanks to someone whose name was too long for me to remember

    Third accolade, yay !
  7. Aerys

    Lusca Hunting

Need it on my troller as well, shoot me a tell @Aerys if you do her tonight and I'm on
  8. If anyone has the Spelunker badge mish, I'm looking for it on my Troller in order to get the Atlas Medallion.

If you have the mish and don't mind me tagging along, please let me know @Aerys
  9. Will be there for my first hami raid !
Got 44 last night on my troller, so 45 won't be a problem at all.
  10. Aerys

    Hamidon Raid

My troller should be at least 45 in two weeks, so will be there unless RL gets in the way.
  11. Fireball is still very yummy indeed if you're /kin.
Fast recharge with all the siphon speed, and when I see the numbers on a contained Fulcrum Shifted *non slotted* (only 1 Acc atm) FireBall, I can easily see why it has been nerfed.
  12. Thanks to the double exp weekend, Jacurutu is now RICH !

I don't like leeching inf Prov, especially when my villains are loaded and not being used at all lately
  13. If you still need cash for your villains tonight, seek me out @Aerys, I got rich villains and poor heroes
  14. Hey Spawnus, here's the build I currently have on my Archer, and I can say that it kicks a whole lot of butt

Once you reach level 33, RoA isn't just a nuke anymore, but an integral part of your attack chain. In fact, depending on the mobs it can be your only attack chain heh.

RoA, Explosive Arrow, Fistful of Arrows, move on.

If you ask me the one attack you could get rid of apart from Snap Shot which is a waste of a power slot is the snipe, I'll probably spec out of it myself, once you get RoA it's just not needed anymore.
  15. Aerys got 46 in the RSF I was part of, and looking forward to doing another one, was a total blast
  16. For some reason, I just always forget your name

I'll see if I can catch you online tonight
  17. Still have Villains way too wealthy for their own good, and heroes who really need to stuff their pockets, so if anyone has a needy villain and a rich hero, I'm looking for a 2-3 mil transfer, just shoot me a tell @Aerys if you're interested, thanks
  18. Well, the toon is now 23, and it stands I have to admit that Filth was right.
Albeit very useful in early levels, I now very rarely use Stone cages anymore, a 3 slotted Earthquake is just that much better.

Quake + Quicksand + Stalagmites = total lockdown of any pack of mobs I have encountered so far.

Will more than likely spec out of it, possibly for stone prison, or keep the power with reduced slotting, not sure yet.

Haven't taken stamina yet, it's a bit tight endurance wise but still manageable, we'll see if stamina is needed before I can enjoy transferrence.

All in all, great toon so far, and a massive change from my previous characters, which are all damage dealing killing machines

And regarding the dmg issue with the ice tank, regular SG teams have fixed that issue

    Aerys:-
The bar has an end to it, I spend a lot of time at that end with my brutes, and on both of them that's from the 17 guys around me. Granite can take more damage, but is still stuck to the same length fury bar. As I'm pretty much always at maximum fury I dont think playing a stone brute with Granite would give me more

    [/ QUOTE ]

No, what I meant by that was that since you can take on a lot more mobs, you takes more hits/misses and thus actually generate fury *faster*.

Faster fury -> Faster rise in dmg output
  20. [ QUOTE ]
I still cant quite see the point of perma-granite for a brute to be honest - I know thing like hasten and rage mitigate the penalties of granite. But, a hastened and raged non-granite brute will do a lot more damage than a hastened and raged granite brute.

    [/ QUOTE ]

You don't see the point of it because you haven't experienced it, really.
For 37 levels with my /stone, I thought I was quite hard to kill with some already massive defense and extreme dmg with SS.

Granite made me understand what invicible really means. Unless you do something foolish or face a lot of psi mobs, you will *NOT* die.

And the ability to withstand so much dmg without flinching lets you face a lot more mobs than you normally could, which in turn means a lot more fury, which covers the dmg part you're concerned about.
  21. Coupled with SS (e.g Rage), Granite's only real issue is the mobility. The +dmg of rage more than compensates for the -dmg on granite, and the recharge is taken care of with proper slotting and hasten. Haven't tried other combos though.

Do people actually PLAY a granite tank or brute before posting about them ?
  22. [ QUOTE ]
Not all - most, but not all - /Stone Brutes live in Granite. My Stone/Stone Brute is level 36, has gone those 36 levels without Granite, and will continue to progress without being in Granite all the time for the 12 levels after I pick it - except in the final stages of the RSF, perhaps.

    [/ QUOTE ]

You'll change your mind once you've tried a fully slotted Granite

I find it extremely painful to revert back to rock armor or something else after Granite, feels oh so much squishy compared to the feeling of invulnerability Granite provides

    Nuke Help

Would have to dig the post comparing all nukes, which states that in the end, Blizzard is the most damaging of all.

I always use EMP on my corr before firing IS and Blizzard too, but in the time it takes me to do that, my blaster can Aim+BU+RoA a group, move to another one and fire off another RoA.
  24. Heh, I actually LOVE the way cages look...

And you're right Carni, I'll more than likely adjust a thing or two as the toon gets higher in levels, so far dmg output hasn't been a problem tho, especially since we added a blaster to our team.
  25. No way in hell I'd drop Stone Cages, I love it, slot it, and use it heavily. As Valens pointed out, QS has a pretty slow activation time whereas SC is instant, which makes it oh so much better to me.

We'll see if it has outlived its usefulness once Stalag is fully slotted and with SO's but right now I use it, a lot.
About people lagging when SC is on, sorry if that happens, but I don't build toons around other people's PC specs...

Regarding jump kick or AS for dmg, I'm playing a controller. If I want to do damage, I can log on my blaster, my brute, my corruptor or my stalker. Or wait for the fire epic.
