Nice video and great song!!! I have been thinking of check out TT. When I teamed to do Ballista-1 we destroyed him. Longbow are chumps when it comes to tactics. I don't know how many times I have jumped around Nerva and lead the longbow into the waiting arms of CrabSpiders, NightWidows, whatnot.
Great fun. I wish I could get my villian badge x2, or x3, or x4.....etc.

People don't enjoy the situation because they are unprepared for PVP- PVP entails other players you can't see, EVERYBODY. KNOWS. THIS. Yet they come into the zone unprepared, wether they don't team, wether they don't have insps. wether they are just a crappy player. YOU refuse to address the fact that this game offers ALOT of stalker counters- IR Goggles, player builds with tactics, tactics that stack, clear mind, AoE powers. Then there is teaming. All of these things are availble to every player. But no, you just want to stand on your soapbox ignore everything and cry nerf because you refuse to adapt to the situation. You want to adapt the situation to fit you.

Two things Scion. You didn't have it out with me at any time. Your manner is disrespectful in my view, and i asked/informed you to desist.
Scion, your comments to the Burst fellow concerning "tanks died in I4" and "learn to read, then post" were very lacking in grammatical correctness, so please refrain from attacking his ability to read should you choose not to exercise any ability to communicate in a written fashion. The actual literal meaning of "tanks died in I4" would mean very specificaly that Tanks (plural) died in issue 4. Meaning they all died. So, his response to you was accurate. They did not "die" in issue 4. Now, if you meant to say "even a tank could suffer from defeat or death in issue 4," then you would be accurate. There's a literal difference between the two, which wouldn't usually be an issue. HOWEVER, you chose to accost someone in written fashion with the comment, "learn to read....." which then would hold you to your own statement requiring you to "learn to communicate clearly" should you have ANY desire to not look like a pedantic hipocrate.
Not that you are one, just that SHOULD you strive NOT to be one, you would need to follow the above guidelines of communication to do so.
And Scion, you have no idea what my attitude on anything is unless I specifically tell you what it is. You can assume. That's something, I suppose. We all know what assuming makes someone into.

But to beat the zombie horse a wee bit more.....Scion, I am not "drunk"- glad to see the level that you must believe people post at to possibly disagree with you.
Also I am posting because I think I got it- I got what drives you Scion to post on and on and on about ED and I5- You DO have the "facts" on your side. You have the numbers and math on your side. Tanks are MUCH weaker than they were in I4, and under ED they have almost been spayed and/or nuetered. But all these "facts" aside, what really pi$$es you off is the "FACT" that there are still people out there playing and more disturbing ENJOYING their tanks, dispite the losses and shots they have tanken since I5. And you cannot fathom that- you are like the Grinch siting atop of the mountain looking down at who-ville- wondering what is meaning of Christmas, how can the Whos' still enjoy Christmas without all the material things he stole from them. I would love to see tanks get something back in I7, I would love to see powers that only take one type of enhancement get some love as to what else the power could slot- or get the ability to reach a certain cap on its own. The difference is that it won't break the game for me if I don't get anything.
To take this topic back to the OP- I would LOVE to see the fitness pool become an inherent. LVL 6- you get hurdle, LVL 10- you get swift, LVL 14- you get health, LVL 20- you get Stamina, all of these powers scale to your lvl. To compensate introduce more end draining villians through out the game. I am sure someone else has come up with this idea, and I am sure someone else has beaten it to death as well.

yeah, I've had it out with Semper Fi before. He, like Futurias, is a "my mind's made up, don't confuse me with the facts" type.
Fact: Tanks died in I4. Even inv/ tanks. And Fire tanks.
Not fact- your opinion. My tank is doing okay. Definetly NOT dead
Fact: Tanks are no longer capable of tank mode.
Not fact- your opinion. Who is capable of tank mode without buffs and stuff, other than a tank?
Fact: Tanks + defenders are good combination.
Not fact- your opinion. But I sure wouldn't say "no" to either of them or both of them.
Fact: Two defenders is even better.
Not fact- your opinion. See above.
Conclusion: Tanks need to be balanced back up. The removal of the global def/damres nerfs of I5 is a good start.
Now- THATS A FACT!!
Addendum: This is not even in dispute anymore. The only questions are how, and how much, and how soon.

Wow....yeah missions in the PVP zones are really tough- I have only PVP'd with my tanker or stalker and with my tanker the mission difficulty HAS to be set to like the middle or lowest one cause the end baddie is gonna be a widow and they suck a$$!! They are straight Kill. On. Sight. Kill fast, kill hard and cremate the damm corpse. You had a great attacks against her- but it sounds like the only thing you had going on for you was the insight- that once you "lost" her, she completely negated all your accuracy DO's and build up. That is the only thing I can think of. It doesn't sound right at all- but again only thing I could think of. -

As to Isolator, I for one, though I am a Badge Hound, actually rather like this not being available. It gives younger heroes something us old pros don't have and can't get.
Two, is there any way to change the wording for the Mezz badges. These are the only badges in the game the wording actually makes shameful to hold. In my opinion.
Three, I would simply like to suggest at some point a Badge called Private Eye, as that is what my main persona is.
Four, maybe a Badge for total hours spent in the city....

It is shameful to be held for like 5 hours......that is the point of the badge. I LOVE the wording for the hold badges!! I wish more badges were like that- damage taken badges, "hey way to stand up and BE the target!" and such!

I can't speak for Thor's Mitersaw, but I do know that the reisists percentage for both resist nrg/ele is WEAK- like clubbed baby seal weak. Some tankers look at those as a bonus none the less, some (me included) see those powers as the sacraficial lambs to some power pool powers to give their tanker more of a concept, or personalization. I took the presence power pool for some cool "FEAR" effects. My tanker is 7'8" 500 pounds of muscle......you bet your a$$ you will FEAR her!!!
Why wait on them?......because of the weak resist they give there are other powers you will most likely want before it seems like "you have to" take the resist.
But it is up to you.....I don't know the percentage of resist they give......I think it is 2.5%- BUT I could be wrong.

To my understanding you just can't spam heals on them......they actually need to have taken damage.
And I don't think pets count.......they SHOULD but that is another issue. -
Dammmm....where was this guide when I solo'd BB with my Claws/Regen- (I know I know LOL) Stalker (this was the day AFTER the supposed stealth nerf was fixed to DOOM us all) and I could not for the life of me take out all the turrets before they respawned and kicked my teeth in.
I gave up in frustration.
Knowing now that the turrets don't heal should make this verrrry interesting.
And knowing is half the battle!!!!

I just took hurl, and I LOVE it!! But I also have just went through 34 lvl's with a total of 5 (including brawl) damage attacks- I was stoked to get another one, and a ranged one at that!! But yeah, it does have a looooooonnnnnngggg animation time, but on the plus side - unlike most ranged attacks with long anmations times but this one is NOT inter-ruptable! Unless you die during the animation time, which bummer dude..........

I am sick of being able to target things until I kill them.......sorry....."arrest" them.....I think after each attack you should have to re-aquire your target lock.

After reading posts and thinking this over, I agree with 98% of the complaints about the recent "updates". My blaster is sqishier (if thats a word) than before, and my brute is like a tank that gets his butt kicked all the time.
Now it seems to me that these updates were done in the interest of "balence" for PVP. My question is why have PVP at all? Are there that many people who use it? and if so why does it seem to me that the Arenas and PVP zones are mostly empty, except for those doing required missions in there? I recently went to Warburg and there was a "Gentlemans rule" of not messing with others without a challenge. If people want to PVP why not just have the "duel" anywhere and let the rest of us go about our business and not foul up the game?

K, Xero, let's talk about "fun". I'm going to describe an in-game event that happened to me recently.
I was playing two Sonic/Sonic Defenders in Warburg.
Player X was playing a Claws/Energy Stalker in Warburg.
I was standing around in the middle (water area) of the zone, looking up my contact info... and "STAB!", Barrier Double loses half her health. Thank goodness for double Dispersion field! That would have been a one-shot!
I wonder why I didn't see him, since I have two Tactics up... triple-Stealthed? Weird.
I see the Stalker, so I target him with one of my toons and shoot back. Weird, the other toon isn't firing... ah, Aid Another doesn't work in PvP - forgot.
He SuperSpeeds away. I heal myself to full (medicine pool power) and get back to my Contacts screen.
At this point I keep an eye on my second monitor, and make sure that no one else is getting too close. I see some Brutes get close, and then leave. I guess they didn't feel like soloing against 2 Sonics?
"Stab!" Double Barrier loses half her health. Same Stalker as before. I target him with Shout, but he's too far away to hit, and I only tag him once. He SuperSpeeds off. Allright, now I'm annoyed.
I start hunting for this Stalker, using one of my Heroes by herself as bait. As soon as I start to see him, I jumped down from the building I was standing on, and manage to target him with both toons.
He sticks around until he's at half-health, and keeps attacking for minimal damage. Maybe he had to stay due to SS suppression? In any event, he Speeds away again.
I go to my mission, and come out. "STAB!" there he is again. I try to follow him, but he's just impossible to see. As I'm somewhat irritated, I hang around for him to attack again.
I try 6-stacking Clarity on myselves. No effect. Finally, after about 4 more attacks, I get a /Tell: "Die Already!"... to which I respond "Stop Hiding Already!".
Five minutes later I leave the zone.
Kills (Me): 0
Kills (Him): 0
Time spent (Me and Him): 45+ minutes.
Fun (Me and Him): None. A complete and total waste of time.
Games where neither side can win are no just un-fun, but a complete waste of time. I won't be bothering to hang around Warburg on Protector again any time soon.
I do have a question: why did my self-buffs work? I was under the impression that there was penetrating damage in PvP?

A valid argument as to why they should mark these somehow... I know the devs like having them as a surprise, but now there's no reason to leave it that way. EBs are fairly common (more common than AVs, anyway) - so they could feasibly tag the mission on the contact's screen with something like, "There's a chance that you'll be running into one of Paragon's 'Most Wanted' villians, Envoy of Shadows/Maestro/ DecafCuppaJo ."

Even if you're trying to be sneaky, it could be hard to not be notices removing books from a shelf, operating a computer, or things of that nature.

And Brawl does have 33.3% of dropping one toggle, I would like it to be 50% for everybody but I am not bothered by toggle dropping "that much" as long as everybody has the ability to do it. For some it is a guarantee, others- not so much.\
And to Scion.....My tanker is 100% Female, so you can keep those "balls" and give them to someone else who wants 'em.

Well, in CoH, a blaster can punch the tanker's toggles off. In WoW, a mage cannot punch a warrior's armor off.

Then we repeal the hated stealth nerf. The reason why: many well reasoned posts. It's that simple. You guys pointed out the problems.
AND now...we're changing the way Archvillains spawn. A ton of forum goers disliked adding so many AV's into missions a while back...so we've come up with a solution. If the team size and mission difficulty are ABOVE a certain level, an Archvillain spawns. Below that, players will face only an Elite Boss. If the mission is set on the first two levels of difficulty, it takes 4 heroes or more to spawn an Arch Villain. On the third level, 3 heroes or more. On the fourth level, 2 heroes. On the highest (Invincible), a solo hero will spawn an AV. Note this works in BOTH City of Heroes and Villains.
In order to incentivize larger teams, Positron is going to add a bonus to AV rewards!

Perfect solution! Don't even worry about making missions droppable now, as far as I'm concerned. My only standing request now regarding missions would be to make completing a mission count for every member of the group who has that exact mission (i.e. Not having to defeat Clockwork King 3 times, because three people in your group have the mission.)
