  1. Monday again, already??

    Ah well, see you tonight!
  2. Oh yeah, also: Must they be usable by all three body types?
  3. What constitutes a full costume set? For example, does it have to include any head gear? Boots? Gloves?
  4. Drain Psyche can work as a replacement for Stamina in build which are not too endurance heavy. Since you're running Leadership toggles and Arctic Air, you'll probably still need Stamina.

It's not the Immobilise itself but the Knockback/down resistance that usuall comes with those powers that counteracts with powers like Ice Slick. I believe Subdue has no knockback resistance portion, so it should work fine with Ice Slick. As for whether or not it's worth taking, well the damage is good. And you can stack it with Chillblain which can help with AVs. It's not a must-have, but it's not a bad power.

Shiver's cone is HUUUUUUGE, which is why I like it. The -recharge and slow components are booth really large debuffs, much larger than Arctic Air (thoguh it doesn't have AA's other effects obbviously). If you like to PvP, it's well worth it.

Do do DO slot tactics. 3 To-Hit Buff SOs, 1 Endred SO usually works. Its endurance cost (which is much higher than Assault, I'm sure you've noticed) means it's worth slotting to get the most out of it.
  5. That was a fun evening, though I must apologise to any folks who aren't as obsessed about fighting off invasions as I am.

Great to see Ms Taken return as well! Hope you'll be able to make it next week too.

Sooooo close to Full Auto now.

Life is going to be less straightforward now that the zone cap was reduced in the hotfix. Fewer people around means a larger share of the aggro per member of the raid.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Ooh, I wasn't aware that they'd lowered the RWZ zone cap in that patch. Ah well, it's certainly for the best.

    See you Trappers tonight!
  7. [ QUOTE ]
And I reckon that Trappers are going to become damn useful in Mothership raids. Hold/Stun/Immob protection that doesn't drop when the character gets mezzed? Hell yes.

I was on a raid last night that just couldn't get rolling. At one point the U'Kon had spawned and was stood on a carpet of orange names. I got passed a wakey, and a BF, popped them, and a purple or two, hit Howling twilight, and everyone came back up. For 5 or 6 seconds.... Then they all fell over again as all the Rikti that were stood around (including 5 or 6 Magus') unloaded everything they had in their direction. That was worrying

    [/ QUOTE ]

Your story is quie worrying, hehe...

I've not had a chance to try the raid yet, but it sounds a lot more fun than Hamidon does. And yeah, all those FFGs will be extremely handy in such a situation.
  8. I can't wait for next week! We're too young to get the Vanguard merits unfortunately, but it will be interesting to see how the Trappers fight Rikti.

Aside from that, I think we've got the end of Doc Buzzsaw's arc to do, then we can do our aura/costume missions before we go pester Crimson Revenant in Nerva.

Oh, and I got my new cossie all ready to go too.
  9. *sings* Trap trap trappity trap traps...

Looking forward to tonight. After my moaning last week I'm sooo glad we're getting a freespec along with I10 too

Doc Buzzsaw and cossie/aura missions tonight, I hope!

I seem to recall we took down Ghost of Scrapyard a few weeks ago, right? We can go get Crimson Revenant as a contact in Nerva after the Doc if so.
  10. Say what? I only managed to make it for the latter half of the SC battle, but it seemed to me Villains were winning that stretch by long way.

This was lots of fun, even with the awful lag. Thanks for organising it Pious!

    Tanker Team?

I'd love to join this as well, but I've got enough teams of my own going on right now.

As for the entertainment value of the team, I imagine it must be fun for 8 Tankers to split up and each heard 1/8th of the whole level back to the same spot for clobbering.
  12. I'd like to say it's because we all have traps means we're stacking a lot of Def (FFGs) and -Def and -Res (Acid Mortars) in every fight. I'd like to say that, but honestly it doesn't feel (to me) like I'm playing faster with Mea Culpa than with Footloose...

EDIT: Ah! Less debt. I think that's the ticket. We do have a lot less playerdeath than in the Dom team because our protection's so high. I mean, ludicrously high. 6+ FFGs, and now someboy's taken Vengeance as well...

It could also be that we set out knowing exactly what we needed to do, this time around. Really we're trying to get to 35 and Trip Maines as fast as we can. I bet we've missed loads of badges left and right.

I'm sure things will slow down a bit in the 30s, as they tend to do.
  13. Last night was a lot of fun. A few of us have hit 30 now too.

Fraser Phipps has remodelled the base soemwhat, as we found we'd collected 800k of Prestieg we weren't using.

Next week we'll start Doc Buzzsaw's story arcs (had a few Bling dings last night too!), then once everyone's up to level 30 we'll do the aura and 3rd cossie missions together.
  14. Oh yes, forgot about them!
  15. See you all tonight! The plan is nothing more complex than paper missions, and hopefully another mayhem or two.

    Epic Pets !!!

I want the ghost ship as a Patron pet. Invulnerable to all damage and spawns dozens of ghosts to fight for you. Now that would be epic. Imagine the PvP!
  17. My AR/Dev only has 3 Dev powers right now... Webnade, Caltrops and Cloaking Device! Skipped TD because it's good but very annoying, and tried and then dumped all the other Devices.

Part of the reason I started the Trappers theme night was to experiment with loads of Trip Mines, something I had no patience for solo with my Blaster.
  18. [ QUOTE ]
I would be on mondays for trappings but I keep forgetting. Also I'm currently grinding my ar/dev blaster for Issue 10 (and I want a 50).

However now we have the RWZ, maybe we can do a trapper/devices team as well?

    [/ QUOTE ]

Not a bad idea that! I've got an AR/Dev Blaster at 41 as well (though he doesn't have Trip Mine right now, but that can easily be respecced).

    Acting Avatars

Ooh very nice, and you even made the gif version too! Thank you!

    Acting Avatars

Very fun idea! If I may, I'd like to reserve the gorgeous Rosario Dawson for Echo Taker, a Magic Defender.

(Though Echo has white hair, sorry! )
  21. Hopefully see you guys tonight for a relaxing evening of gunfire and explosions!
  22. Sorry you couldn't make it Radio I hope your problem fixes itself real soon!

Last night was amusing, but took a lot longer than was expected (due to the mobs being +3 to half of us for much of the SF). Very sorry about the overrun, if I'd considered the time we should have split the SF over two weeks. I hope you guys still enjoyed it regardless (and I hope the final 2 missions more than make up for the amount of travelling in that SF!).

The next week or two, as requested, will be a chillaxing week. Nothing but regular, paper and mayhem missions.
  23. [ QUOTE ]
The Rikti invasion could be interesting of us... standing around outside in an air-raid zone waiting for the aliens to appear...

    [/ QUOTE ]

    ...in bunny outfits! I agree!

    [ QUOTE ]
We need to get to tripmines

    [/ QUOTE ]

Convenitently, the level requirement for the RWZ is 35, and that's the level that Trip Mines become available

Looking forward to tonight! Will see you all at 7-ish!
  24. No worries, you didn't miss much aside from the debt

Monday, we shall be doing the Sharkshead SF! Because it is awesome! And should be good XP and has a nice reward and all that too.

Look to meet up around 7pm as usual, and looking to start the SF at 7:30.
  25. Yes well... Personally I wanted to try it earlier because it wouldn't be a challenge to do so at 32.
