You can contact them ( support@mmoart.com )
As I recall though, I don't think they're accepting new commissions until they are done with their current queue. -

I wasn't going to buy it, but dang nab it that Robot Dance emote sold me. I plan to have my Deadboys doing the robot all throughout Rogue Isle while throwing rose petals and confetti
Sooo awesome! *shakes fist* Curse you devs and your neato booster packs! -
Still waiting for you folks to offer pencils and inks.
I'm not so much into the 3D poser stuff, but your pencil samples were very nice. -

I was kinda just pickin' I think you did a great job, and I did go with the monochrome one.
I signed her onto freedom and when I was stanging around in AP a person ran a costume contest and I won! (granted I believe my bio helped me win)
I also think the name change helped, I was feeling Precognative Kinesthetics was kinda a mouth full for a hero name. So, Patience Kincade is the happy owner of 7mil influence. Now I have to find a way to buy some amulets at Yin's market, nothing like SO's at lvl 7.

No worries I was just having fun with your alt's outfit, I hope you have fun with the colors! -
It's a warm costume color tone, her hair could be toned down from the brighter orange shade (which has more cool/blueish, undertones, for one with a reddish undertone), but it's not really clashing, it just makes the orange stand out more
It's good that the game gives so many variations on skin tone. The browns to vanilla range is great especially the various undertones of the colors. I usually stick with the middle row, I believe that one is has more of a yellowish tone than the other two rows. -
Ahh okay then I'll try some variations on colors with maybe some minor adjustments to your costume.
And yes it is that easy to figure out your costume, but also I only make female characters so I know all the bits and pieces they have.
I'll edit this post with another version in a few color combinations. (I like the gold on her though)
Well I got through one before RL came a knocking
Crimson, Gold, White and a tiny dab of Gray. -

ya know I totally didn't realize they both have the same belt.
I like the contrast between the dark green and the light green of the leaves and hair.
[/ QUOTE ]
Then make the shoulder leaves brighter green (I'd say move it down left of that ultra bright green) like the hair but the chest and bottoms should be darker. The leaves don't stand out against the bright green top, they get lost in that nearly ultra bright green.
I'll try and do another sample of your other alt shortly. I'll use the pieces you used and show you how to use a 3rd color in your combination.
EDIT:
Here's Precognitive Kinesthetic
#1 Darker Colors I purples that were a shade darker. Also included 3rd color of wheat on the belt and gloves (you might have had this color on the gloves but I couldn't really tell for sure). I also gave her a mask that had rounded edges instead of the sharp cuts to go with her peaceful face.
#2 Monochromatic. I used only the colors in the yellowish-orange row or golden row. Except for her hair
As far as costume design, I don't know what your concept is but I would suggest changing those gloves to the wrapped version [[Found in: Gloves :: Smooth/Bare :: Wrapped ]]
instead which is less bulky looking than the Full Wrapped ones.
-
Re: Precognitive Kinesthetic
As first glance I'd go with a deeper purple to make the pale gold pop out more. I might soften a bit more with touches of dark rose or crimson.
Re: Echo
You're using brights a lot on both characters..but here you have two very bright colors that are distracting to the eye. Tone down your greens and purples.
Here's she looks like with darker greens and purples -

Look at the color combinations. They're a great source of inspiration when designing. Everyone else already gave some nice advice. -
Join the Brain Damage Squad!
A new specialized, themed teaming project focusing on Psionic damage powers, fashioned after the Paragon Police Departments Psi-Division, on the Justice server
About the PPD Psi-Division
A new and controversial initiative of the PPD is a division of psychic officers, known as Psi-Division. The controversy surrounding these new additions to the department stems from the fear of wide-spread use of mental powers among law enforcement agents. For their part, Psi-Division points to their extensive training in ethics and their internal auditing program as key methods of avoiding abuse and corruption.
The Brain Damage squad has been publicly active for a short period of time, but their actions have dramatically lowered the crime in Paragon City. The citizens of Paragon have been giving them measured praise and hope the trend continues.
Recruitment Day
Brain Damage will begin training its 3rd batch of recruits, codenamed: Charlie Squad.

Okay here's a lady I came up with....its kinda scary how easy this actually is. I'll get to work on the male.
Female Cenobite
EDIT: Here's my shot at making Frank.
It's difficult to make it look like he has no skin, cause its hard to do recreate tendons (white parts) but hopefully this is okay. -

I love the pencil work, I think I'd rather have a pencil drawing than the digital stuff. Hopefully you'll offer some traditional pencils.
EDIT: Ahh that's a comic cover...no wonder I liked it -
Being picked to be in the first 10 isn't anything to sneeze at, and who knows you might have gotten into the top 3. On some servers it was easier to pick the top 3.
The logistics of that contest was insane. I think there was 30-45 mins for each server. Gill Lush and I had to make alts on each server and put them in Pocket D.(As I recall, Virtue spawned 2 Pocket D's when it was their turn).
Then there were special guest judges that had to be coordinated as well as getting folks to line up for the contest. Picking 10, then narrowing it down to a winner or top 3 (I believe it was). It was totally insane, crazy fun.
It's Gill/Jomaro's call if there will be another costume contest. More than likely it won't happen anytime soon since he is fully focused on emptying out his queue. -
Perfect thank you.
Your color scheme is good, I like the way you used the dark red and olive. The pale skin is a good and subtle touch.
You would have made it into the first cut of 10 (there weren't a lot of cowboys so you would've stood out) but you probably wouldn't have been choosen to be the top 3 of the server. -
You'll need a better image...can't see the details.
-
Which server would your contest alt have been on, and show a pic of your alt.
I'll tell you, straight up if you had a shot. -
[ QUOTE ]
I remember those contests too, Alty. I was logging on one server after the other - I think I entered four characters (3 heroes, 1 villain.)
When Soul made the semifinals for Victory at the time, I was up against Ms. Japan, who took second overall. I remembered thinking "This is as far as it'll go" cos she was so good.
We both got picked for the finals. I still thought I'd get cut, cos I'd seen the other finalists on other servers. So third was still an honor.
[/ QUOTE ]
It got pretty tough giving input on the finalist, Gill and Lush did all the hard work though. I just e-nodded in agreement most of the time.
Soul Train was/is always a standout. As I recall Verika (T!M) had an outstanding character as well, great use of color (naturally) on that alt. -
I remember going through each server as a judge.
I learned that every server has:
1 Rock Guy/Gal
1 Fire Guy/Gal
1 Ice Guy/Gal
1 Demon Guy/Gal
And they don't look any different, each one looks exactly how you would expect a rock, fire, ice, demon to look. Using the exact same color schemes and costume pieces.
If I recall correctly, Virtue had a very large turnout, but the other servers were pretty big too.
At the end of that crazy day..I did not want to look at any more costumes for a week.
But the ones who were original, it became very tough to pick a winner. Junkyard was a real standout though! -
HA! I love the milk carton!...Nice touch. Can't wait for the colors.
-
Hey he can post all he wants to, that way folks know he's alive and drawing.

I think that you are doing the right thing by being here, being present and answering questions, just be aware that there's a lot of hard feelings that aren't so easily glossed over.
[/ QUOTE ]
Those people with hard feelings should contact Jomaro and work out a solution or request a refund. Otherwise I don't see many hard feelings around here, amazingly enough the exact opposite. The bottom line is either you choose not to patronize MMOART.com or you do.
Some may want a long detailed explanation of what happened, but if you really get right down to it, the only thing that matters is receiving the artwork or a refund.
Both of which should be arranged in private contact with Jomaro and not bantered about on this forum.
Now then...on with the ARTWORK! YAY!
[/ QUOTE ]
I just want to specify that my post was not intended as an attack, nor as a commentary on my own personal feelings on Gill's return, but in response to the feelings of those in the Satisfaction thread and elsewhere. It was to address any negativity that may might still be floating around. Anyways, back to the art...
[/ QUOTE ]
Understood, but they're all adults and I'm sure quite capable (as shown in that thread and the other MMOART thread) of speaking their minds, so a spokesperson isn't really needed.
It's up to them to communicate with Jomaro and express whatever emotions they're experiencing. Also he can review that thread, if he so chooses to get a "feel of the room".
...that's all.
