The price tag looks sooooo much like the ones I used to tag everything with. Though it occurred to me it might also have been at the booth that markets em, too, along with all the other plushies and game products. And nodwick and ps238. And the dice.

.....Holy cow, do you have a bigger version of that, because... I swear that looks like my old comic shop's stand at the comic con... o.o
what a small world we live in. -
This thread is a real live tragedy, Forbin. We can't tear ourselves away from it.
Oh, the Humanity! -
Oooooh, that's awesome to know! Thanks! It looks so cool.

The whining about the farm nerfs thread is that way -->

I was disappointed this morning to see 54 posts and all of them had answered the stupidity already
[/ QUOTE ] At what point do we cross the line from answering the stupidity being part of it?
[/ QUOTE ]
Depends. I think we can justify post padding on a thread we know is eventually going to be locked, right? That's not stupid that is genius! -
That BASE! Oh my god!
How... how is the water there? Have I been missing pieces from my base editor?!
And woot woot for Kid and Nomme! Happygrats to our great Protector couple! -
Are you certain you're playing on that difficulty? What rank mobs are you going up against? And what contacts stories are you doing? Because it gets thrown out if you're talking about mobs in the MA.

How about giving a choice among some of the harder-to-unlock costume items? Frex, for those of us who will never have the time to do an 8-player TF, let us get the Roman armor set this way.
[/ QUOTE ]
If you cannot find a group doing the ITF in 40 minutes or less, on your server, you need better friends. They're done all the time on Protector, and it being one of the low pop servers, I can say you need to get better at making teams or pay attention to global chat to find a team for that purpose.

'm thinking simple lighting effects that combine with the fixed pose to keep the art cost low.
...
These would probably be too expensive to make, though.
[/ QUOTE ]
There is no such thing as "keeping the art cost low" if it affects visuals in any way. To my knowledge we don't have any lighting effects which directly operate on a character. I don't think they can be made, but I'm not sure. It would require a lot of work.

Perhaps a once-per-hour highly interruptible teleport to the zone's trainer (doesn't work on mission maps, in trial/etc. zones it goes to the nearest zone exit)?
[/ QUOTE ]
Why? If you're leveling, don't be lazy, fly / jump / run to the trainer. They're right there. They've even installed trainers in zones that didn't have them, to make it more convienent.
[ QUOTE ]
Or maybe a "rail pass" that lets you board the PTA from any normal zone without gaving to run to the station. I'd go for the extra benefit and lower cost of making one "green line" and one "yellow line" pass power to pick from, and the pass always boards that line regardless where you are. I guess the villain equivalent would be just the ferry or black helicopter, neither of which goes to Mercy .

With all the other existing methods of transportation available, there really is no need for this either.
Sorry to burst the bubble, just ... they don't seem like anything of use or implementable. -
See that's why I'd have named him Moder8r, and he could be related to my family of heroes, Retail Retali8r, Procrastin8r and Oblivi8r.

Sig, I'd give you 5 stars if we still had player stars.

RAWR! Angry Biological Issue SMASH!
[/ QUOTE ]
Heheh, if I played villains, I'd so make that. -
Yes, they do. Having easy access to a friendly, reasonably easy to navigate information source has been of great help to a lot of the newcomers up in the Player Questions area. I fail to see how leveling up faster will help anyone stick around - when they suddenly realize, just like the farmers and the powerlevelers, that there's no REASON to get to some other level, because there's no end game.

I want a bug free game.
[/ QUOTE ]
Doesn't exist.
[/ QUOTE ]
Maybe, But issues like that could be fixed.
[/ QUOTE ]
But they might cause other, more pressing bugs.
You really have no idea how programs are made, do you.
Bug free games have never existed. They will likely never exist.
What you really want is a game that YOU don't experience any bugs while playing. I don't think you give a rat's behind whether there are other bugs, as long as YOU aren't momentarily inconvienenced by them. You're not so generous and benevolent to worry about what happens to others. Just look at your other ideas, for proof of that. -

I take it that you like talking to brick walls....

No, no.
I look at it like this: I love playing repetitive, stupid games. Pachinko. I have a 55+ year old pachinko machine, the old fashioned kind with the flipper you actually have to use your thumb on, and though its bells and lights are dormant it still makes quite the racket.
I can play that thing for HOURS. Just flipping a thum-bar, and watching balls hit little tiny pegs and sometimes moving into the jackpot holes.
I look at this as a game of verbal pachinko. I know I'm going to say the same thing over and over, because sometimes the result might be a jackpot
Whether that means someone actually thinks I'm right, or I get something that I can put in my sig line to quote... doesn't matter.
plus like I said a couple threads back - I'm pms'y. I gotta have something to work out this angry biological issue on. -

Leveling in this game is ridiculously easy already.
Plenty of people are coming on to this game, and not because of the farming being done before the recent MA issues.
With a learning curve, it would be *far* worse to have "free levels" given out. They need that valuable play time to learn how to PLAY.
We have respecs. We have access to great helpful builders, and the paragonwiki.
We have teams. I see nothing here that warrants more quick leveling when it's easy as pie. -
Um.
You keep saying that it's a struggle.
You keep saying that it's bad to be on a low pop server.
... Then move. Pay your freaking 10 bucks, and move to Freedom and be done with it.
Maybe if you headed down to the Guardian server forum, and ASKED NICELY when people were on, and if they'd like to arrange some strike forces? You might actually be able to find people who would be willing to put up with you long enough to do one.
You are not doing nearly enough to help your own situation, and that's not the game's fault - it's yours, and yours alone. -

Really then you explain why the person ypu lead out still gets stuck on elevators?
Point made! Both sides have that prob and still never fixed
[/ QUOTE ]
This is hardly a universal problem. I myself have never had it happen, not even once. I know a couple people may have - but it's not something that's game breaking.
If you have a list of bugs, maybe you should *coherently* list them up with detailed information about where they happen and how, and then send that to the devs. Complaining about random crap without being able to back it up here, is just ... well, yeah. Not helpful.
[/ QUOTE ]
See you admit they are there and thats my point. If they looked that would be fixed. They need a issue to fix ALL BUGS
[/ QUOTE ]
No, they don't.
Bugs in games are pretty much 'features' unless they crash clients.
Has this ever crashed your client? Can you prove it?
Things that break the game - literally and figuratively - need to be fixed. Hence, why they just did the recent AE work, and the emergency fix to the base issue.
Notice that up till now, most folks hadn't HAD that particular issue? And when it cropped up they could fix it right away. It WAS a game-breaking problem for enough folks that they wanted it patched.
Guys getting stuck in the ceiling?
not so much. Their gm's need something to do, right? If the game was bug-free you'd be condemning who knows how many people to being jobless.
You don't want that, do you? -

.... WE are punished, with brewha. -
If you can find the folks who speak Spanish and want this, grab them and make an "unofficial server". The Aussies have one, I believe.
However, remember though that the game isn't going to get a new server for fewer than 10% of their actual player base unless they can really prove that it's warranted. I know several South American players, who pretty much learn more and more English as they use it in the game - it IS an english-speaking and english-oriented game. I do see your point (living in a border town, I know) though I don't know whether it's really warranted.
It should be something that I'd hope they would look into for demographics, though. Maybe you should send this to Niv or Amatea and have them pass it along to the Marketing guy? They'd know best. -
