    Beware of Dog!

For my newest commission is now complete!

Fluffy the Destroyer in plushy goodness (or should I say badness?) by Squisherific.

    Reference for comparison.
  2. *gets thwacked with subtle hint over the head*

    OUCH!

Sorry Ninus, I really would like to help you out with a Master run but I can't for several reasons. First off I've been suffering from CoX burnout lately and not playing much. Second, I'm at a career turning point IRL. Gonna make this my bragging post. As of this week, I'm no longer a Tactical Avionics Systems technician (guy who fixes radars and other sensors on military planes). I am now an Airborne Electronic Sensor Operator in training, which means all the nifty toys I used to fix, I will be flying in the air and operating. I fly out tomorrow for a one week course and later this August I'm gone for about 8 months straight. My gaming drive is WAY down right now. And third, it took six attempts with Psychosis to get my Master badge. Six long, grueling, frustrating and stressful attempts. I'm damn glad to have the badge now and I don't want to do that again. However, I wish you the best of luck, and do look up Havok and Nestum as they were on my successful run and developed the tactics and strategies used to do it. And if you ask nicely maybe Botley will join in too

    Good luck and good hunting!

    Finally!

omg grats alpha..i would have thought you would be there by this time.

    [/ QUOTE ]

I've gotten close before. Had about 1.6bil a few months ago then had to IO up a new 50. This was the first time I made a concerted effort to hit the cap, without cheating (using funds from other toons). Mind you I really suck at playing the market, so I work the supply angle: farm > craft > sell.
  4. Alpha-One

    Finally!

    I have joined the club.

Took a few months of non-stop farming, crafting and selling. Now to go waste it all on a few purple sets.

    All MM ITF

I'll be out watching Transformers 2 at that time, so I won't be able to make it. Best of luck and have fun!
  6. During the cutscene of the 3rd mission of the LRSF (Defeat Future Freedom Phalanx), Manticore "wigs out" for lack of a better term. He rapidly plays the draw arrow animation repeatedly. This only started with the arrival of i14, where I also noticed many enemies seem to "fast-forward" their idle animations (pounding fists, etc).

    All MM ITF

I think it was an all MM RSF I brought you guys on. Any all MM event is hella-fun. All those pets make a great steamroller. You can sorta ignore the hill of lag since the pets do the killing even if all you see is a slideshow. Just make sure you have a few ppl with immobs to keep Rommy from running like a pansy. Pick a time and date and I'll fill in if you have a spot.
  8. Noire, one of my friends lost nearly 100lbs in a year. What he did was cut way back on portion size, cut out all grease and start working out army hardcore. But his trick to keep from relapsing is every two weeks, he got to eat whatever he wanted for supper. That way if he felt tempted, he'd just tell himself "In X days, I CAN eat that!". And usually after X days, he'd have forgotten about it.

Now I realize you're on a completely different diet, but my point is, you gotta factor in temptation and build a way to negate it. It helps turn a diet into a lifestyle change you can stick to forever. You've been doing really good already (I only lasted about 10 weeks on South Beach, me lurvs meh sgettis) so keep it up!
  9. Thread rerail (is that even a word?)

We need money related auras too. Like have an aura where bills and coins fall off you when you move around, leaving a trail of cash wherever you go. One of my rich SG mates wants an aura where you fart dollar bills whenever you jump.

NO MORE BURPEES! FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS HOLY! PLEASE NO MORE BURPEES!
  12. I've skipped most of the debate in this thread, but here's my 2inf:

I always considered badges to be a reward for "grinding" in a casual oriented game. So a casual player could level from 1-50 and probably not even get 100 badges, I'm willing to GRIND to get all the badges I can. The badge is my reward for extra hard work beyond simply playing and leveling. I did find some of the MA badges unfair: the ones where another player (or dev) could affect my badge progress. However, the rest I EARNED by GRINDING in a game that isn't "grindy". With Synapse's post I now believe the devs are simply taking the "hard-work" aspect out of badging to be fair to more casual players. And this will actually kill what keeps me busy between issues.
  13. I have no problems with stability, simply the random 3d gfx "fracturing" like in Syntax's screenshot. I was also heavily multi-tasking at the time I did up those reports :\ more than I normally do when actively gaming. And to give extra background, I'm an air force avionics technician, who happens to build and mod computers for fun. I have a large, well ventilated case with several fans focused on hotspots and cables sleeved and managed to minimize airflow impedance. I also routinely clean components with avionics grade electronic contact cleaner to remove dust and visually inspect for any kind of damage. I might be a bit biased here but this PC is extremely well maintained and the ONLY time the graphics fracture is while running CoX. That is the only constant. It has happened in practically every zone, while teamed, solo, after playing a couple hours and sometimes with no incident for several weeks. The only other possible contributing factor would be that it never happened until I switched from XP-32 to Vista-64 to take better advantage of all that RAM. I don't believe it's a heat related issue since I would expect incidences to happen more often as ambient temperature increases with warmer weather. This has not been the case. My suspicion at this point is this may be due to an interface glitch between Vista and CoX. That's essentially why I've ignored it until I noticed this thread, also since it's fixed by simply rebooting.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Thou art the purest form of evil.
  15. Well I've sorta been ignoring this issue since it happens very randomly, only in one game, and is fixed by a reboot. I thought I might help Syntax and maybe get an answer for myself by posting here. If this thread is dead I won't bother then.
  16. Any extra info I can add to this?

  19. I've been having the exact same problem for over a YEAR. It is extremely random, sometimes weeks between instances, and only while playing CoH. I'll post data shortly and maybe we can kill two birds (though one reluctant) with one stone.
  20. I can confirm they stay up, since my brother put up a couple story arcs during reactivation week, and they are still up even though he didn't resubscribe.
