I have a LOT of characters that I've put into COH just to see them move. ((I think that's partially why I dislike the idea of a cel-shaded game, because this one is rendered so well.))

He wound up as a Spines scrapper, but gah I hate spines. He only has arm spikes (which are shown beautifully as 'spiked wrap' gloves) and that's supposed to be ALL he uses. Basically, I should remake him as some other kind of scrapper, though ... feh, none of the others has animations I want.

Okay, so I was sifting through my Photobucket accts looking for a screenie for a costume option in Beta for CoV. (Anyone remember that shoulder option of fur that covered the whole top torso and shoulders? Thats what I was looking for - visit Jay's Costume Request thread for further on this)

Anyways, I came across drawings I had made when I first heard about CoH. (Anyone remember the OLD ORANGE & BLACK forums, and the powers and how you could select them, before they changed it all?) So, while I imagined what I wanted to see for my Heroes, I sat down and drew them.

I was wondering, anyone else do this, and does anyone else have pictures of what you dreamt of, and what your Hero ultimately ended up looking like?

What I like is that kids sometimes think they cant draw, but then if you show them with a little imagination, what can be created from almost anything, THATS where it all lies. Good stuff!

LMFAO!!! OH MY!! Well, time to go respec and pleasure myself with laughter all night long by shooting low level minions across the zones in CoX!!! WOOT!!!!

Ya know they have talked about this for some time. I remember back in year 1 I believe, that they would have this sort of feature. I think its a cool one, nice to view and see all the toons and levels and friends and such. I say Bravo, plus the Dev's took the time to think about it with being able to enable or disable the feature.

This is a good thing, and if web based will keep me busy at work while I cant play, but can look at peoples toons and badges, WOOT!

Is cool to see temp powers where you can change into "famous" CoH/CoV toons. would be a cool screeny to have my toon name above a toon that looks like Statesman, or Mako!!

-Very nice to see new powers (Even though they are cheap ones) And what I mean by that is like States and BaB have said, they were the easiest (cheapest) to do. Yes, hopefully Chains and Street Fighting will be coming down the pipe, but nice to see new Power Sets no matter what they are. Am I making new toons because of the Power Sets? DAMMN SKIPPY! WOOT!!!

-Weapon Customization. Now some say this really doesnt excite them too much as you can't do "alot" so far. But this is the first step to what we all hope will come, and thats total weapon customization of weapons and colors. (Example: The Blue Flame, can hopefully in the future actually have blue flames.) This is a very important first step into what will be a very cool feature for all players of CoX.

Flashback? I am sorry, does that actually say Flashback? Well, WOOT the F@ck WOOT!!! This has been a want since I can remember from the masses that be. Its nice to see that when the community speaks, the Dev's do listen, and although it may take a while to deliver, they do. Kudos to the Dev's. And although some may say there's not alot of new content, Flashback is the only word that needs to be cantered.

Issue 11 shaping up to be very hopeful.

Now, with that said, whats in Issue 12 ALREADY!?!?!?! LOL!!!

I not quite sure if you remember, but a while back the Dev's had us submit some Hero and Villain toons for some contest. They picked out the finalists, and Admiral Arachnos was one of them. (the first design in the special arachnos helmet). I eventually lost to a Queen Bee I think it was. But I was honored just to have had one of my toons picked!

And yes, if you look at my Registration date, you will see that I have been around since pre-beta, and all the toon names listed are actual toon names. I am one of those "name wh0res" people talk about. And I still have about 40 or so waiting for other power sets to be intro'ed into the game. If we ever get "Chains" as a power set (I know Statesman like this concept, but said it will take time for graphics and animations), but I still have names like Chain, Strider, Bear, Flesh, Out Rage, Black Crow, Destruction, Hunted, Untamed, Horrific, and so on, that I still havent used.

Well I thank you for the compliments! I know I spend ALOT of time in the Hero/Villain creator, and the wife teases me and tells me I am "playing barbie" because I put so much into trying to get the best looks for toons if I am gonna play them. (She used to play too, but not so much anymore). But with all the costume options, and new ones coming in I-10, it makes it the best part for me. Making toons! So yes, I have the BUG too!!
