Am I imagining this, or was there a longbow heli that once existed to transport you to something related to the Winter event?
One of the first Christmas Events involved a Longbow character sending you on a mission through a helicopter. I remember because that particular mission was a way to gain an Oportal once Ourboros was created.

For eight years they all just sat there with their little flashing landing lights blinking again and again.
I've seen laments for the unfinished launching pads in the game, but those helipads have been there since launch, and nothing was ever done with them! I think that is even more sad.
Poor unused helipads.
