Weird things happening in First Ward

I understand there's not much point in submitting bug reports anymore, but I'm curious whether anyone else has seen these things happening in First Ward:

1) Phasing for contacts is not working. For example, Noble Savage was standing beside the Hetman when I first arrived instead of waiting to appear till it was appropriate in the story, and although the Hetman has now been defeated he's still standing beside Noble Savage.

2) Just ran the finale mission for Katie Douglas ("Investigate D-SEC") and it's full of non-targetable mobs who just stand around -- some Carnival of Light, some Vanguard, and several of a strange hybrid: Arachnos torso, Council legs, Scrapyarder helmet, and Crey Protector shoulders. They don't do anything but stand in the way (and an occasional tech heal emote).

I'm hoping this sort of thing is not gonna get worse as I continue...

Has anyone else ever run a Praetorian character from 1-40 without leaving Praetoria? I started this char last month in order to have one last run-through of the Praetorian storyline. Played the Crusader missions and then went straight to First Ward at 20 instead of taking the portal to Primal Earth. I'm wondering if this has somehow caused these problems...(?)

I just took one of my Praetorian characters through the First Ward arcs, and the NPC/contact phasing seemed to work properly for me. I did not notice Noble Savage until after his story arc called for him to be there, and he would have been hard to overlook.

This character never completed the story arc/mission to leave for Primal Earth.

Interesting...! Thanks for the reply. I wonder what caused this for me but left you unscathed.

I guess we will never find out now... :-(

I ran Heartbroken One on Guardian from level 1-37 or so completely in Praetoria, avoiding going to Primal Earth, and in First Ward I had exactly the issues you describe. And it would eventually 'fix' itself as I went through story arcs, then, if I visited Pocket D for some reason and went back to First Ward, it was back to 'broken' again.

I don't think the code is working right for those toons that don't 'move on' to Primal Earth and establish them in one of the four alignments there. Being Loyalist or Resistance at the First Ward and Night Ward levels seems to confuse things.

Finally, at level 37, I couldn't get anything more other than the various repeatable contacts (my toon in question was a Loyalist who had joined the resistance as a mole long back and then went Loyalist before he reached level 10 and stayed Loyalist ('hero' branch) from then on, reporting to Scott or Marchland as needed) any more. And I really want to get him to 50, so I went to Primal Eatch at last, went 'True Hero' and am working my way. He was created Aug 31st, 2012 BECAUSE of the coming sunset. His name speaks of my real feelings about this end of the game.

OK, that sounds pretty much like my experience. Hadn't noticed if leaving the area has an effect, but my char is still Resistance, and I was thinking the same as you.

Also, I have to agree with your character name... :-(

Kid Konquer (on Victory) - the Praetorian alternate to Kid Kourage - has reached level 40 as a true son of Praetoria. He is no traitor and will never abandon his homeworld.
I outleveled all the content of First Ward before i23 came out, and by that I mean I beat the snot out of every gray thing in sight till it stopped giving xp. When I played it the Hetman and Noble Savage never occurred together. Haven't really had a need to go back to the compound since. So I haven't noticed any of these issues.

Just call me "The Pool Guy" - cause I believe that power pools are the ultimate in powerset proliferation. Fewer powers to develop and available to all.
