You'd have to be really, really dumb to click a link like that, even if it's from a friend.

This is really doom.
people do silly things all the time. At least I'm trying to warn folks.
I didn't click the links, but I know some who did. It happens.

i normally never click links from skype chats anyway cause i know my friends send me a lot of random crap anyway lol

For anyone who uses Skype, be warned that there's a couple of viruses floating around. The one I avoided sends an IM from someone on your contact list with the note "Lol is this you're new profile pic" with a goo.gl link. DON'T open it. Unfortunately a few folks I know clicked the link.

As always, be careful opening links, even from trusted friends.
