I know a lot of people were hatching diabolical, overpowered schemes for their Blasters in i24.

Here is what I was going to do with my Fire/Mental/Mu (replacing the Posi set in RoF with a catalyzed version of the second ATO set.) I'm glad I didn't buy all the boosters I would've needed ahead of time, hah.

I never actually got to build it. But my i24 Fire/Fire/Fire, the first and oldest character I had, would probably drop Fighting to add Inferno and build for recharge/resist. A blaster with crashless nukes, 80' range, high resistance and ice slick (bonfire + overwheming force proc) might've been competitive with many of my newer characters.

Well, at least Weave. Fire/Fire is notoriously difficult to get defense on.

It would be interesting to try out a resist-only fireblaster.

Power Boost ON 15s every 15,81s give me near perma instantsnipe.
I slotted it for DEF ( 45% in S/L/E/R without inspiration , little miss on Range) and Perma instantSnipe without too much click ( miss for 0,81s).
Could perharps be upgraded with the second ATO.

The empty slots in cloaking device would've been probably two pieces of Miracle for the recovery bonus, and a generic endmod. Or three pieces of Numina's if it turned out that the unenhanced buff was enough to run all those toggles off, which I suspect it might've been especially with Agility. Second ATO set was going in charged shot if I remember rightly, since one of its bonuses was energy/negative/range defense.

Being able to fire the only attack in beam rifle with 100% chance to spread disintegration every six seconds or so would've been awesome. And doing so on a character that's also softcapped to everything that matters would've been even better. And Overcharge and Piercing Beam were being buffed a little too... so much awesome for one character in one issue that I'll never see now.

My first level 50 Blaster. I eventually grew tired of Archery's constant redraw and overall just enjoyed blapping so much more than blasting. I24 would have been perfect for him...
Hectacomb is just a placeholder for a full catalyzed set of the second blaster ATO. My Fighting pool level order is all messed up, but you can just shuffle power around.
