Avatars just links to where you had stored it. They never hosted the avatars. Most people used photobucket or similar service. You could check your User CP and see if the link is still there. It may give you an idea where to look at least.

oh well, thanks anyway, I knew it was going to be a long shot
I saved it, but apparently I lost it somewhere, Im pretty sure it came from the CoH boards
it is a black and white movie with what looks like a flying fortress in an air battle... can anyone direct me in the right direction?
