I don't understand if this is some kind of test or not, it'll take you two secs to get the perma hasten, 5 mins to improve a few powers. I don't understand why you're leaving it for others to do?
Perhaps you're missing something. I already have perma-hasten. I just haven't been able to find a way to keep it and get 45% defense. Or even marginally better defense than I already have.
I'm not "leaving it for others." I've tried to do it myself, without luck. So I'm throwing it out there for better builders to get advice. You make it sound like I just walked in and asked for a build. Is the build I posted so poorly done that you think I was being lazy?

Great build Dawn. Many thanks. If you're willing to spend more time on it, thats cool. But seeing as it's for something that won't live longer than three months, don't do it unless you really just like to. I can't promise I'll use the next build as much as I know I'd use this one, but who knows, maybe I'll just make a second build with it.

Uh oh. I didn't notice you had Stealth toggled on for those defense numbers. I'm tinkering now to see if there's a work around. If I can hit the soft-cap without losing it to suppression, that would be ideal.

I ditched the Heca's for one more set of KC's, changed which LotG's were used in Weave, and took the last slot from Punch and put it in Char to slot 5 Unbreakable Constraints. My Hasten will be a second shy of Perma, but I'm not going to notice it. Meanwhile, I should be right at the soft-cap. Thanks a million!

I like it, you did something I might of saw if I looked at it further. You came back to the thread and proved my 5 mins was worth it (whereas I could of spent 20 mins and not known). You took what I developed it further so the build is yours and I am not gonna secretly meet you ingame and hear that the entire build was down to you (which I have had before from a Stonetank on Union).
I made a move, you made a move, it's a bit like a chess game. I made another move. I changed some slotting to improve in DPS and I changed taunt. I'd rather emphasize duration than shave off milliseconds in recharge and with Rage I don't think ya need Acc in taunt not even for PvP.

I like it, you did something I might of saw if I looked at it further. You came back to the thread and proved my 5 mins was worth it (whereas I could of spent 20 mins and not known). You took what I developed it further so the build is yours and I am not gonna secretly meet you ingame and hear that the entire build was down to you (which I have had before from a Stonetank on Union).
I made a move, you made a move, it's a bit like a chess game. I made another move. I changed some slotting to improve in DPS and I changed taunt. I'd rather emphasize duration than shave off milliseconds in recharge and with Rage I don't think ya need Acc in taunt not even for PvP. Also if I was intending to tank with this I would of taken Fly. My Elec Brute has SS and Fly as it happens. |

Okay, give me your thoughts on this:
I thought some more on the Taunt slotting you were talking about and I realized there was some wasted potential there. Instead of MBs, I could 6 slot PZ and pull all the slotting from Rage. I keep the 5% recharge, and gain a little more defense and some regen. I put one slot for res in Grounded to squeak out a little more neg res, and a Numina's in Health. Keeping the 3% res IO and gaining 30% more regen overall should have a helpful net gain in survival.
Or do you think the newly opened slots could get better performance elsewhere?

At first I was wondering why you had fly, then I looked at my own build and realized that in my effort to see if I could put in Afterburner, I forgot to switch back to CJ and SJ. D'oh.

-Kb is in Fly, Winters in SS. I like SS to shoot about low ceiling areas. I like Fly for universal positioning outside of low ceiling environments which is helpful in redirecting or mitigating damage and works well with all kinds of support. If Elec is meant to handle anything for any given team make up then I sure like to make that true.

Depends on what you are doing and what you use Brutes for. If you are going to use Brutes for the full scope of things then fly is an acceptable idea. You're on Union so if you got a Brute which you feel can do the full scope of things I can bring Brute which I feel can do the full scope of things and we can see which does more.

Then I'm going to see if I can't make my main more uber. Here's his live build right now, a SS/Elec brute. I always wanted max recharge for him, but tried to get some extra S/L defense as well. So, if you can get him 45% S/L defense (or anything more than what I have) and maintain perma-hasten, I'll build it. Well... so long as it's not gimping damage output.
