A though about the "deaths" of Statesman and Sister Psyche...

So, if the rumor is true about the 5 year "lease" of CoH from Cryptic to NCsoft, that they didnt renew...

Makes me think that something "might" have been up for a while, just under wraps by the heads of the game.

Maybe they knew that Cryptic wouldn't renew and were asked to kill off States and Psyche in the Coh universe... to make them reborn in the CO universe? After all, if the rumor is true, then the rights and IP of Coh goes back to Cryptic and they can then incorporate it into CO lore.'

Or I could have had too much to drink tonight...

The rumor only accounts for the game engine. The IP is, from what I understand, now property of NCSoft.
