I'm so sorry to hear this. I just scanned the convenient thread seeing if he had posted in it. So very, very sad to hear. He was among a small group of people who made the "golden years" of this game for me.

My deepest condolences to Lucas' wife and family. I teamed up with Lucas a lot more in farms than played with or against him in PvP. I was in the Golden Knights SG on Justice, and we were coalitioned with Lucas' SG (the Dream Team - which Flea is the Leader).
He was a very skilled player, and I respected his opinion a lot.
Alpha Wolf called me last week to tell me the news, and I couldn't help thinking that while I was sad to hear of his passing, I was glad to have played with him.
One of my regrets was not telling him that I was Ghost Falcon.
I'm very tempted to put some of my Paragon Studios / Cryptic Studios / City of Heroes/Villains stuff on eBay, and donate some of the proceeds to his family. I'm considering that I should start off with something small, before getting to any real big stuff. Obviously, if some people think this is a bad idea, just let me know and I'll stop. I bounced the idea off of Alpha Wolf, and I've been debating over the last couple of days whether to post this proposal.
To put this in perspective, and this might be a little bit TMI, but last year in 2011, prior to CoH Freedom Beta, I found a small tumor. Due to the location of the tumor, I decided to have it removed during the biopsy. The diagnosis thankfully turned out benign, but the waiting period was absolutely hellish. If it had been malignant..., well, I hope that my wife and kids would have received support and help. I am saddened Lucas passed away, but I really want his family to know that the bonds and friendships that Lucas made meant something.
I really want to help.
