Nature Affinity questions

I'm absolutely thrilled as the two Nature Affinity screenshots the Devs shared have convinced my spouse to make a NA character to play with me in CoX. So, trying to figure out what she should make as I can't see the Beta forums, and know very little about NA.

My thought is a defender for her, so she gets the NA goodies as early as possible. I'd go with a Brute or Scrapper of some sort. Any suggestions of synergy for the secondary for her Defender?

Also, I'll make a NA as a soloer. Any thoughts on that?

City of Data hasn't been updated with beta information yet so real numbers will have to come from typing the [Power Name] in game.

Nature Affinity will do well with pretty much anything, as it's well-rounded with buffs, debuffs, heals, and an absorb shield that's fairly easily replenishable.

It will do really well with another Nature Affinity character, to be honest. I'm trying to drag my fiance back to the game to play a pair.

Yeah it's a very well rounded set and very solo friendly. There's only 1 support skill in it that's ally only and that's the ally rez (which functions as an ally heal if they're not dead). Otherwise, everything is fine to take by yourself.

One thing I did forget to note, it has somewhat-longer recharge times similar to Time Manipulation which also has longer recharge times, but that means the powers are slightly more effective than they would otherwise be with lower recharge times.
