hi, ok now i know how to sell the enhancements to the proper store to get best bang for my buck and also using the auction house (ww), my question now is this, im lvl 29 brute now and i see i have like 3-4 zones i can go to, to do missions in, DOES all 3-4 of those zones that is my level range all drop random salvage, recipes, IO's ect... or does 1 zone do better than others?

So this way i can focus on better way to make my cash.

Some plp been asking for my Global so they can send me some cash, i thank you very much, it would help so i can get rest of my slots filled out with SO's so make my missions easier and faster to do so i can start getting drops to make my cash and hopefully start on my IO's. By the way at what level should i start gathering and slotting IO's? and when i get the cash by lvl 50 for sets, should i go for IO sets or just keep to IO's if i just keep to IO's , no sets will that make me lesser than those who has IO sets?

Here is my Global @Twila Star
Server: Freedom ViP

ok thanks i will check my mail when i get into the game and see who all mailed me cash, i appreciate the help -

I vaguely recall something about the PvP zones being slightly different than normal non-PvP zones, but don't remember what. Otherwise, all zones are the same.

If you were still using DOs and SOs, then there is a consideration. The enemy groups drop specific origin enhancements. Thus, if you're relying on drops for your slotting, then you might want to seek out the appropriate enemy group to have a better chance of getting an enhancement you can use.

Different zones are stocked with different mixes of critter groups. Now invention salvage can be divided into either tech based or magic based and most groups drop one or the other, few drop both. So if you want to get some necessary magic I-salvage it would be best to target critters that drop that kind of salvage and they may only appear in certain zones.

Nice, magic base is what I'm after.

There's no real definitive answer as to when you should slot IOs.

If you look on the Paragonwiki here you can see a table with all the relative enhancement values for TO/SO/Common IO/Set IOs. As you can see, level 30 Common IOs are slightly better than even level SOs and level 35 Common IOs are as good as +3 SOs. IOs never expire, so if you slot Common IOs around that level and never replace them, then they'll be as good as SOs forever.

(Personally, I never use SOs at all -- I have a base with a couple of tables full of low-level Common IOs, and I slot them as the slots open up on the character, and put in a new one every ten levels, i.e. if I slot a level 15, then I'll eventually replace it with a 25, then a 35, then leave it alone.)

A lot of people seem to get their characters up to 50 on Common IOs/SOs, and only then give them a Set IO build. Some people slot bits and pieces of Sets as they level to take advantage of the better enhancement values without worrying about set bonuses (frankenslotting) and then make a level 50 build. Some people start slotting full sets much earlier than level 50 (low to mid 30s is a frequent choice), often because they like the flexibility of keeping the set bonuses when they exemplar down.

There are also a few specific Set IOs that you might want to slot even if you generally stick to SOs or Common IOs -- they give things like a global bonus to To Hit, or more End, or KB protection. It depends on your specific character as to what is useful to them.

Really, though, Sets are icing on the cake. I see plenty of people playing with just SOs or Common IOs slotted. This isn't a game where 'gear' matters all that much, and people won't be turning you away from teams because you're using SOs.

I'd like to take a moment to emphasize this. Even if you've already joined an SG, having a personal/private SG and Base is convenient to store stuff that you don't necessarily want to share.

Make a new character, run it up to level 10 and start up an SG. Of course, you will have to play it to earn enough Prestige to buy the bins and things. Note that the SG gets a Prestige bonus with the first 10 SG members, so make some filler alts and have a buddy help you invite them into your private SG. Once you have some storage bins, you can email items that you pick up while playing other alts to yourself to be picked up by one of your SG alts later.
